If You Can't Take the Heat...

Lana sent out Skywing. He flew up into the air and stretched its wings. The duo walked towards the base of a large volcano. Lana checked her bag and made sure she had water. She did have enough of the rehydrating liquid for a adventure close to the volcano. She was hoping to catch a Pokemon.

OOC: Wooo... man spreading yourself way to thin. Can only do one thread at a time okay. You have one in the Field, on e here and one in the River. Please pick one and then we can pick these others up in the progress okay? Thanks

OOC: So you wanna travel in the Volcano eh? well better be able to take what your title says! LOL!!!

IC:
::The duo walk into the mouth of the mountain which has been dormant fo quite some time and ws starting to gain activity in its depths. Here anything that could take the heat of magma and intense heat made these places home, one among them was a small fire pokemon namd Magby who would evolve into a magmar. Which was one who could take any heat. It started to feed on the heat when he spotted the interloper a trainer and a nice plump bird to burn.::

OOC: Good enough for ya? muhahahahahhahha!!!

OOC: Hahahahaaa! Now that was good! The way you set that up made me smile. Thank you for brightning up my day Lazerus.

IC:

"Are you ready Skywing?" asked Lana.
"Pidgey!" said Skywing.
"If yor ready, hit Magby with Tackle and Quick Attack combination!" said Lana. "I know you can fight with all your might!"

OOC: I just wanted to make a catchy title for this area. Skywing and Lana are ready for any challenge.

OOC: Oh godie!

IC:
::The pidgey flew towards the magby and was about to attack when the magby shot out a blazing hot flamethrower which blazed hot red and gold. Hit went towards the flying pidgey whom was aiming for him. It hit and burned the poor birdie, but when the bird attacked the second time it decided to take the hit. Now injured it used Smog which created a blanket of cover which to hide in and now it was time for the duo to use those nogins called brains.::

"Skywing, I know you only know two moves but it would be nice if you magically learned a new one..." said Lana.
"Pidgey..." said Skywing.
Lana clenched the necklace Pidgey gave her. She hoped that a miracle will happen soon.
"Skywing, come here..." said Lana.
Skywing landed on Lana's shoulder.
"I want you o use Quick Attack to sneak around Magby. When I give the signal, use your strongest Tackle and Quick Attack combination." Lana whispered.
"Pidgey..." Skywing whispered back.

:: The bird flew and sent a quick attack it flying towards the opponent, but changed its course at the end and went around the opponent. The smog cleared and Magby saw thatthe pidgey wasn't above or in front of him so he thought that the little bird was behind him. He turned his back and saw that it was true. The Bird used tackle which was fast and it clipped him on the arm. Although when the bird came around again the magby avoided it and countered with another Flamethrower aimed at the wittle birdie.::

"Dodge it now Skywing!" yelled Lana.
Skywing did a loop in the air and doged the Flamethrower.
"Now use a Quick Attack and Tackle combination again! Make it as powerful as you can!" said Lana.
"Pidgey!" said Skywing.

::The bird barely misses the fate that would of injured him the fire whizes past as the bird makes a loop and comes out of it in a quick attack aiming for the flightless magby even though he has no wings whatsoever. The quick attack hits with power and as the pidgey uses the attack "Tackle" he uses at the same time a Flamethrower sening a hot beam of fire towards the bird.::

Skywing gets hit and gets back up.
"We are not going to give up yet!" said Lana.
"Pidgey!" said Skywing.
"We need a new move!" said Lana.
"Pidgey!" agreed Skywing.
"Use another Tackle and Quick Attack combination and hit that Magby hard!" said Lana as she held the Pidgey-Feather Necklace.

::Magby quickly uses smog which gives him cover thus moving a little to the left. Thus making the bird to miss him both times. then out of the blanket of smog a ember is shot out towards the bird wanting to burn its tailfeathers.::

Skywing got hit!
"Oh no!" cried Lana.
"Pidgey!" said Skywing.
"Try and use Quick Attack and Tackle again and weaken that Magby!" said Lana.
"Pidgey!" agreed Skywing.

::The smog lifted and Magby was trapped and could not create a smog as fast as the little bullet of a bird it came pelting towards the fire-spit pokemon who was a sitting duck its embers on top of its head where scorching hot and rising which the bird pokemon was aiming for the pokemon who knows what would happen::

"Now nail that Magby hard!" Lana cried!
"Pidgey!" said Pidgey as he charged up his power and speed.
Lana clenched a Pokeball... Magby needed to be weaker so Lana can catch that Magby...
"You can do it Skywing!" said Lana.
"Pidgey!" agreed the tiny bird Pokemon.

::The Magby was hit who was putting Skywing to his paces uping his stats at the same time as gaining experience. The arena which they where batling in was starting to heat up and felt much like a sauna sweat was trickling off of Lana and Skywing, but the only thing coming off of the magby was heat which was making it semi-hotter in there. The fire pokemon was getting wasted and put through its paces as well and was trying its best to beat this one for it was hard to do so. "I got it" the magby seemed to say to itself and used Smog and Flamethrower at the same time thus hiding its true place and another attempt to hit this bird which might become its meal for he was getting weaker by the minute.::

OOC: Having fun?

OOC: Oh yeah! I am having fun! Thank you for making this exciting Lazerus.

"Skywing, dodge that combination attack!" Lana cried.
"Pidgey!" said Skywing as he flew higher to avoid the fire.
"Now use Quick Attack and Tackle at full power!" said Lana.
"Pidgey-Pidgey-PIDGEY!!!" said Skywing as he started to glow with speed and power.
"Hit Magby now!" cried Lana.

OOC: Any Translation for Skywing?

IC:
::The bird flew over Magby's flame yet he was still covered by the smog that was held over so he hadtrouble finding the little bugger in the smog. Skywing gets lost turning its head left and right trying to find him. He does and rams into him once. The second time Magby tried to dodge it and just barely. The little fire pokemon was getting tired quickly a little more of this and he would surely be to tired to fight. He let out another ember at the brird as it was trying to clear itself out of the thick blanket of smog that was hanging around where Magby was.::

OOC: I guess I can translate Skywing's chirps for you! All of Skywing's translations will be in Italic text.

IC:

"Good job Skywing!" said Lana.
"Pidgey-gey-gey-pidgey!" said Skywing.
"That was exhausting work trying to tire that pesky Magby."
"Ok... Skywing come back!" Lana said.
"Pidgey!" said Skywing.
"I need the rest!"
"I hope this works..." Lana said as she made a Pokeball bigger "Let's catch that Magby! Go Pokeball!"

OOC:Mostly joking but uh... okay then?

IC:
::Magby disapears into the pokeball as it shifts and a red light blinks inside the magby struggles to get free as it does he loses strength finally in the last moments of struggle it gets to weak to fight anymore and accepts itself as caught.::

"Yay!" cried Lana. "I think I'll nickname my new Magby, Flame. Now let's go to the Pokemon Center. Skywing return! You deserve a good rest."
"Pidgey." said Skywing.
"Finally! I need the rest!"

::You exit the volcano and its fiery inerds behind you as you journey to a town where you could rejuvenate your pokemon. Your footsteps echo over the brimstone ground as it transfers to just plain earth. You continue towards a place where there is civilized people and a bathroom or two. For you had been traveling around these parts for days and had to be one with nature. You see the city from where you are and are in joy for all of its grand benefits!::
