My first Pokemon! CLOSED

Caleb walks into the Professor's lab. This is my first day to get a Pokemon! Caleb walks into the room and waits patiently for Professor Oak to come out. "I really do wish I can get a Squirtle" Caleb says. I've always wanted one. The Water type Pokemon has always been Caleb's favorite type of Pokemon. Caleb sits down and waits.

A man with immense experience welcomes you to his lab it was Prof. Oak seeing you with his gray hair and gentle eyes, "Well hello new trainer I am Professor Oak! Wh might you be a fellow Trainer I see!" As he looks you over and sees the pokemon gear that you had your clothes and attitude makes him sense that you where wanting to get your first pokemon. Still waiting however to hear your name!::

My name is Caleb. I live here in Pallet town. I came to get my first Pokemon!

(I have some questions. When I get my starter Pokemon, where do I keep track of their moves and level? And items, money, stuff like that. where do I keep record of it?)

::"Ah! I see I think I remember hearing of you moving here how is the place that your staying good I hope?" As the old man moves to a counter like surface that has four holes that seem to go on forever, as he motions for you to follow him and the pokeballs appear by magic four pokeballs ready to be seen.::

ooc: I'll put the starter and moves, but usually you either put it in your signature or you can add it to your application!

"Pallet Town is pretty nice". Caleb follows him over to the desk and looks at the four Pokeballs. "Which ones are which?" he asks.

(Okay thanks, I'm new here. )

ooc: Yes you always do ooc for out of character and IC for in character! Yeah I knew that you wehre new to the site!

ic: Professor Oak shows you the pokeballs and goes from left to right in order. The first one I believe is Charmander, followed by Squirtle, then Bulbasaur, and finally Pikachu. But I could of gotten it wrong, no knowing what order they are in. How about you try each pokeball!" He suggests to you as you try each pokeball. The Prof. was correct adn you find the Squirtle and he asks "Do you wish to have that Pokemon?" awaiting for him to answer and if he was going to if he would give it a nickname?::

Ooc: Okay thanks.

Ic: "Yup, that's the one that I want!" Caleb said as he looked at the Pokeball that had a Squirtle inside. "And I would like to give it a nickname- Squirt." Caleb said.

Ooc: If it's a boy I would name it Squirt- dont know yet.

::Professor Oak looks at the young boy with a happy voice "That sounds like a grand name for a squirtle!" As the squirtle jumped out of its pokeball and grabbed from within its shell and withdrew a pair of sunglasses. It looked cool with them and looked towards Oak and then to Caleb he looked happy::

OOC: I can vision those sunglasses right now! (Plus it's from the TV show) So I'm guessing it's a boy?

IC: "I'm liking him already! And it looks like he likes me too." Caleb said happily. The little Squirtle jumped up into Caleb's arms. "Squirtle is happy about having his first owner." Caleb said. "What are his moves and level?" Caleb added.

::You get the Squirtle it is a male, at the level 5 and knows the attacks "Tackle, Tail Whip, & Bubble" as you recieve the pokemon and five pokeballs, and five Antidotes to start y9our pokemon journey. "There you go that should help you for now on your journey have a safe one and have fun raising that little guy!" Oak said as he accompany Jacob off on his first and long journey!::

OOC: Umm, it's Caleb... '__'

IC: "Thanks Professor Oak!" Caleb said as he headed out the door. As they went out, the tiny blue Squirtle looked at the Blastoises in the field near the Professor's lab. He smiled happily like he was saying, "Yep. That's what I'm going to be when I grow up. A big strong Blastoise." Caleb waved at the Professor as he went home to tell his family about his new Pokemon adventure.

Journey continues at the Training Area!
