We Made It! Closed CLOSED

"We made it, fellas...Pewter City!" Lowell says to Squirtle and Poliwag as they enter. "What a charming place. Maybe we can find a trainer here who can help us toughen up." Lowell looks around for any other trainers who may want to battle.

Brock looks up from his seat. "Hey you! Your a tranier right? I'm the gym leader here. Want to fight? You win and I'll give you my badge."

"Sounds good. I don't have much experience, but I think I can give it a shot." Lowell checks with Squirtle and Poliwag to makie sure they're ready, then prepares for the battle.

"Go Geodude!" The rock pokemon quickly gets ready to fight. What pokemon shall you use?

Lowell thinks for a moment, but quickly makes his choice. "Squirtle, let's go!" Squirtle jumps up, ready to fight. "OK, Squirtle, use Water Gun!" Lowell commands.

(^OK for me to attack, or should I have waited?)

"Geodude Jump!" the rock pokemon moves away from the attack. "Now! Use Rock throw!" Geodude picks up a huge rock and toses it at your Squirtle. Squirtle rolls to the side avoiding the attack, before shooting another watergun that hits dead on. Causing big damage.

"Alright!" Lowell says excitedly. He looks at the situation. "OK Squirtle, try using Water Gun again!"

The attack hits again. This time KOing Geodude. Squirtle grows to level 9. The geodude was Lv.10. Brock growed agitated. "Go Onix!" Soon the large rock snake taks up the field. The rock pokemon bashs Squirtle with its tail. Basing it into the wall. Slowly the Squirtle stands again. Though a bit shaken up.

Lowell winces when Squirtle hits the wall, but is relieved that he is still standing. "That's OK, Squirtle, you can do it! Hit him with Water Gun!" Lowell encourages.

Squirtle does a water gun, hitting the Onix, but this pokemon would not be beaten so easily. "Onix! Iron tail!" The Onix swings its tail again. This time Squirtle does a withdraw, not getting the full hit, Squirtle jumps off the wall he had been bashed into earlier. It seemed to stay in the air waiting for the next command.

"Alright! Squirtle, try to spin over him and Water Gun from above!" Lowell shouted to his Pokemon.

Squirtle does what you say. Spining over it lets lose a large water gun. The Onix Swips its head to hit your pokemon, and Squirtle manages to avoid the attack but now finds himself falling down, being a good 3 stories high, a complete fall would hurt. So Squirtle grabs onto Onix's neck.

Squirtle's in a tight spot... Lowell thinks. "OK, Squirtle, use Water Gun and slide down Onyx's tail!" Lowell yells to his Pokemon.

Squirtle lets loss a large bast of water till sliding down the rock pokemon's tail. Onix flips his tail up. Throwing squritle high up, till his nose almost touches the ceiling. "Onix! Use headbutt!" Onix rears his head. Charging forward to Squirtles falling form.

Lowell yells to Squirtle: "Squirtle, look out! Use Withdraw and spin away from Onyx!"

Squitle quickly withdraws, but is still hit, trowing it rolling on the ground. Your pokemon stands up barly from the fall. He looks back up at the giant pokemon. On instint he charges to rock pokemon letting lose a water gun. Finally the onix gives. The onix has been KO'd. Squirtle grows to level 15, the Onix was the same level. Wait, Squirtle is eveloped in a silver glow. When it fades a Wartortle stands where Squirtle once was. He has now learned mega kick.

Brock sighs in defeat. "Alright you win, here." He hands over the Boulder Badge. "Congrats. You're pretty good."

"Gee, thanks!" Lowell takes the Boulder Badge and puts it in his pocket. Lowell returns Wartortle to his Pokeball so he can get some well-earned rest. "Do you know any good places to catch Pokemon around here?"

"Hmm. The feilds around here is a good idea. If you want to get your second badge you'll need a electric pokemon. You can quickly find those here. You also need to travel through the caves to get to the next city."

"Thanks! I'll make sure to follow your advice." Lowell nods and exits the Gym, out into the fields to search for electric Pokemon...
