Description: Rui is 5'4" in height with hair almost as long, and is a bright bubblegum pink colour. Her eyes are a deep sapphire blue colour, set in a heart shaped face. Travelling down her body you see that she has curves in all the right places, nothing excessive anywhere. She seems to have exceptionally long legs for her height, a trait that she had inherited from her mother.

For clothing she generally wears black, with gold trimming around the edges and detail. The top opens at the bottom showing off her stomach, and her skirt is as showy, the skirt is tailored to have slits in the side running up from the bottom of the ankle length skirt until it almost reaches her hips and she wears two thin belts as show pieces. She wears gold-trimmed black stockings that reach up to mid-thigh height, and golden boots just short of being knee height.

Hometown: Lavender Town

History: Born and bred in Lavander Town, the family moved to Pallet Town after the loss of Rui's mother and pet Pokemon, Aerial, her Pidgeot which she used for getting from town to town quickly. She had died when her Pidgeot had crashed and she had been crushed by the weightof the pokemon. Rui's father was distraught, and blamed all pokemon for his beloved wife's death and he banned Rui from ever owning one herself, something that Rui resented, especially as she saw other children with some of their own. She wanted to be like the other kids in Pallet Town and have her own pokemon.

Then one night she was outside when she heard a small cry from a pokemon, and there she saw a tiny Eevee in the grass, obviously a baby and seperated from her mother. Running back indoors, she got some morsels from her leftovers from her dinner and ran back, slowly coaxing the Eevee closer to her so that she could have a good look at it before deciding what she should do. Eventually she decided that this little Eevee would be her secret and that she would hide it away and visit it after dark when her father refused to leave the house.

After weeks, she found out that the Eevee was getting stronger and was meeting her for their playtime, until one night the pair were attacked by a Ratatta with a grudge. Rui let out a terrified shriek until she saw the Eevee tackle the Ratatta head on, making it focus on the Eevee entirely. Soon a battle was engaged by the pair and they were tackling eachother left right and centre, until the Eevee got the upper hand and forced the Ratatta to unconsciousness, before it collapsed beside Rui and seemed to emit a light glow, making Rui think that she lost her friend until it started changing shape, started evolving. When everything cleared, the newly evolved Umbreon looked up at the girl expectantly, and Rui stroked the sleek black fur of the pokemon before her. "Come on, girl, we need to get you inside and I'll tend your injuries."

Her father was furious that she had taken a pokemon home, especially the pokemon that she had. He disliked Dark and Ghost type pokemon the most of all Pokemon, but Rui refused to stand down, insisting that the Umbreon had given itself to her when it attacked the Ratatta that had attacked them. Eventually her father gave in and allowed her to keep the pokemon that she had befriended.

Personality: Rui is a very quiet girl when she first meets people, but this quickly changes the more she gets used to them. She is desperate to be allowed to go on her own adventures with her pokemon, Twilight, and wants to prove to everyone that she is as good as her mother was, or to even exceed her mother. She wants to prove herself worthy of being her mother's daughter, and wants to prove to her father that she had no chance of following her mother's tragic footsteps.
