Dig out Diglett!

As Calvin continued his journey to Pewter city to challenge the first gym leader Brock along with his Staryu and Pidgey He decided to pass through a large cave. "Diglett's cave.....I'm sure I'll find a lot of neat pokemon!" Calvin slowly entered the cave with caution. He felt movements below him and the ground shook a little. Then he heard noises.

Digletts: Digglet Dig Digglet Dig Digglet Dig!

Calvin: "Huh?"

Diglett: Digglet! *pops out in front of Calvin."

Calvin: A Digglet eh? *searches up Diglett on his pokedex*

Pokedex: Diglett, the Mole Pokémon. The movement of these Ground Pokémon can be easily detected by their tracks of upturned earth.

Diglett: *stares at Calvin deeply with happy eyes*

Calvin: "Alright I'll battle you! Go Staryu!"

Staryu: Heya!

::As the tiny mole sees that it was going against a water pokemon it wouldn't last long or would it. As it used dig pulling itself underground and hiding itself biding its time to come back up and strike question is what wil the staryu do in this situation?::
