::Still not liking going out in the world for it felt a little uncanny and with feelingthat you wouldn't be successful still you bit the bullet and took your wooper on a walk going throughthe town of Pallet. With the feeling of low self-esteem mostly about your battling skills your feet hit the pavement as the wooper sat on your shoulder securing itself to you as not to fall. You pass other homes and building in the area as the sun beat down and there was a few clouds in the sky and a slight breeze blowing through bringing the smell of the ocean on the other side of town to your nostrils.

You see the sign on the corner which pointed you to the right way to the Professor's grand laboratory that spanded at least two full blocks. It being close to the wilderness he had extra land for the pokemon that where kept safe there could roam free in a safe environment and not being hunted or captured. The actual lab only was a portion of the land, but it was a good sized laboratory. Still you keep on heading towards there for you feel more obligated to go there then by choice still a small excitement comes into you. Not far from where were a gray building stood out being wide as well as high it sat a small hill surrounded by a fancy looking fence not only keeping from the pokemon from getting out, but so as trespassers can't et in either. A small path from the gates of this fence led to a set of stair at least twenty with a landing inbetween them which led to a pair of double steel electronic doors.::

Raelene groaned and rubbed her head. Her father really needed to learn when to give up. Rae couldn't Pokemon battle to save her life, so where was he getting the idea she could ever be a Pokemon master? A shuffle came from the other side of her room and she glanced over at the noise, a small blue Pokemon waddled around near her dresser. Oh yeah, that was why. Earlier that day Rae had decided she wanted a Pokemon as a pet (seeming as her battling skills were zero and she had no intrest in Contests or anything of the sort) and had stupidly wandered out into the taller grass outside of Pallet Town. Upon doing so, Rae stumbled across a Pokemon she was sure didn't live around the area, a Wooper, and it had followed her home.
Apperantly her father had come across the idea now that Raelene captured the Pokemon and was trying to convince her that she would be, quote: "The BEST Pokemon trainer, Rae!!". He kept at it all day until she had given in, and was sopposed to go some Professor Oak later in the day to recieve a...Pokedex? and some...Pokeballs? Rae shrugged and sighed.
