June stood before the large doors that inevidably lead into Oak's Lab, one hand on his messanger bag's strap, the other patting Psyduck lightly on his head. The sleeping Pokemon was an oddity, sleeping on top of June's head most of the time. Not that June ever minded. After all, Psyduck was his friend.
After ultimately deciding he had no idea where to start this journey, he figured he would conform and do what everyone else had done before him. Visit the Old Man, see what advice he had to offer. He had never seen this Oak before, so he figured he stayed inside all day, doing research. He was probably very pale and had crazy mad scientist hair. Hah, what a thought.
Nonethless, thsi guy was supposed to be the "leading reasercher on the world of Pokemon." June just kinda hoped he could point him in the right direction, then get back to his crazy mad scientist work. Wow, what was he doing. Just standing here, having delusions of a crazy mad man. Might as well meet the guy. June reached up, and knocked twice on the doors. Psyduck snored loudly atop his "bed."
