Donovon walks into the training area and released his Trapinch and Gligar out. Trapinch and Gligar happily pop from their pokeballs both waiting for Donovon to give them a command. Donovon then said," ok guys let's get this started Gligar use Metal Claw nonstop on Trapinch, and Trapinch you use Protect for as long as you can." Gligar began to use Metal Claw, and Trapinch began to generate Protect.

::As your gligar came closer and closer the nidoran wasn't well aware of what was going on for it was just minding its own and getting a meal when the pokemon attacked it making it lose 10 hit points of its own that was when it got the message of what was going on and had a look of rage on its face for it had just been attacked while it was just minding its own and so it used Leer to the gligar as it showed its attack to the gligar it started to work as its defenses went down a level it was back to the other what will happen next for these to combatants?::
