Name: Hokishimaru Tskamato, nickname Hokishi.

Gender: Male

Description: Has orange hair that gets easily messed up, but usually keeps it under control underneath his orange hat. Has sea-blue eyes and glasses. Every day he wears the same outfit; a white tee-shirt with orange sleeves and a little Pokeball insignia in the middle. Usually also has orange shorts. Has a backpack with one handle that is worn across his midsection. His shoes are, of course, white with orange lacing.

Hometown: Born in Twinleaf Town, but hastily moved to Pallet Town when his parents lost their jobs in Jubilife City.

History: Born and raised for part of his life in Twinleaf Town in the Sinnoh region, Hokishimaru was given a very special present for his fifth birthday; a Pokeball containing the Pokemon a female Budew. The two became wonderful friends, and although he didn't level it up from the original Lvl. 5, Budew would become his only friend when the sudden news of moving to Kanto was given to Hokisihimaru. When they arrived at Pallet, Hokishimaru, now eleven, learned of the Pokemon League. He told himself that one day, when his parents gave him permission, he would go on the great journey that is the Pokemon League.

Personality: A bit shy when around new people, but never shy around a Pokemon. Loves Pokemon almost more than other humans. Whenever there is a Pokemon in trouble, he attempts to help it in any way possible, no matter what the cost may be for him. Always looking to add new members to his "family", which is what he calls his team of Pokemon. Also very strategic when it comes to battling and very good at using the enviornment in a fight.

Audition Post: As sun streamed through the open window, Hokishimaru strectched and yawned, waking up at the usual 7:30. Budew was sleeping peacefully next to his head, and he gently shook her awake. Budew opened one eye and then gave a little cry of glee, which was her normal morning greeting. Hokishi swung his legs over the side of the bed, got up, and went to his dresser. He put on his usual outfit and then went downstairs, Budew following behind.
When Hokishi got to the bottom, he found his mother and father already up, which was strange since they usually weren't up yet on Saturday mornings. Then, as Hokishimaru sat down at the table, his father said, " Hokishimaru, your mom and I have been thinking about it, and we thought that it was finally time for you to go out on your own and see the region. And of course, Budew can go too." Hokishi couldn't believe his ears, and he jumped up and gave both his mom and his dad a huge hug. Budew ran around the kitchen, peeping with joy. She hopped onto the table and gave Hokishi's father a kiss on the cheek.
" But remember, Hokishi, you need to visit Professor Oak first," said his mother. Hokishi remembered that no trainer was complete without a Pokemon Index, or Pokedex. So Hokishimaru ran upstairs, grabbed his bag, and rushed downstairs.
" Wait!" said his father. " Did you forget? Oak doesn't receive visitors on Saturdays. You'll need to visit him tomorrow. So just wait until then." A little dismayed by the delay, Hokishi decided to just wait until tomorrow, and then would leave first thing in the morning, to get a head start on the day.
