The Water City

Johnny entered a place that seemed to be run by water and had some bridges running through it. He thought that he would stay here as well for a little bit and get to know about the place. He was first going to take his pokemon to he Poke Center and get them healed. His feet carried him to a buildng that had sign that read "Poke Center- Here you can heal your pokemon".

Johnny returned to hubble of the street watching and passing much he saw that this was a major town and had a lot of perks. He thought he'd go down at the beach and do some training for if the city was booming you know that the leader must be strong. Either that or it is a good city for tourists. He traveled down to one of the less crowded beaches and let out his pokemon all at the same time. All five of them popped out of the pokeballs, Flame of course was already there.

Out came Sea the Horsea, Claw the Hoothoot, Bug the Chinchou, Rat the Rattata, and finally Dude the geodude the ywhere all out on the sand enjoying the time out for some much needed fun, but to their dismay John was in to train them n the beach. "Alright everyone we have a BIG battle coming up so I need to train you guys a little more the ones that are lacking in level ups which is in part my fault as well!" He said to his friendly pokemon. Flame was glad that all he had to do at the time was do some easy stuff for he was one of the top leveled up pokemon there.

All of your pokemon stand ready for your orders on what to do.

"Okay here's the plan listen up Flame cause i'm going to need you to do something. We are going to work on Teamwork!" "Rat I want you to dig a hole for he rockswhich Dude is gong to collect then Hoot I want you to carry buckets of mud to throw on the rocks, then sea ou hit the rocks and mud with a water attack. Finally tomake things final I need Flame to use his Flamethrower to make the wall permnent. Okay you all hve whatyou need to do so go and do teamwork!" He went off out of the way of the project while the others with some difficulty team up with one another. Doing what they do best and what they where told to do as well.

They all start training like you say. After awhile Rat gains a new level, Dude does also.

John sees that the project is progressing the hole was dug and the rocks where collected now it was the job of puttng it all together.

OOC: hanks Arceus!

OCC: they needed to level up.

After a good hour of training, Flam gains another level, Hoot gained two, and Rat learned Hyper Fang.

Okay now Bug & Sea aim your Water guns at the rocks so they can become as one!" which thy did aiming both of their water guns at the rocs they fired at them.

The two of them continue this for awhile and both Sea and Bug gain a level.

John saw the final product and saw that it was perfect, but to his dismay he also had to see how they would go against rocks coming down. "Okay now let's break it down! Flame and Rat use Quick Attack, Dude use Rollout, Hoot defend yourself from the rocks, Sea use Bubblebeam to defend yourself, & Bug hit with Spark!" He knew taht they didn't want to destroy something they had done so hard to put it up, but it was part of their next trainig method. Besides it was only a wall of rocks it'd be easy for them to rebuild it. again if they so wanted to.

They all do as your told and destroy the wall, the other three easily defend themselfs against the attack.

"Good Job everyone! Now lets see how you do against each other!" he said as he gave them a reward treat for their good work. "Now Hre's a nice long and strong rope Flame, Rat, and Dude I want you on one side and Sea, Bug, & Claw on the other your going to paly Tug-0-War pretty much you pull on your side until one side crosses this line in the middle" As he makes a line that looks like the center. "So go ahead adn start and don't forget to have fun!"

They starts and quickly Flame's side starts winning, but the other team doesn't them drag them any closer to the line.

"Come on everyone get one side down!" As for he wasn't just rooting for one side he was rooting for both. In other words he didn't care who won just that someone did for this is good exercise for them to see how their strengths lie.

After more fighting Flame's team pulled the others over the line.

"Alright good job everyone you all did so good against each other!" He said as he rewarded them once more. He was trying to think of something else to train them on especially since they where going to go against the famous "Misty" the gym master of Cereulean. He knew that they had to be toucgh in order to take her on and win.

OOC: Hey arceus do you have any ideas for training purposes?

OCC: target practise?

No far of you see a large group of boulders. Flame happily points toward them and lets out a couple 'Chars'.

"Oh quit right there Flame! We should do some Target practice, Flame how about you use Flamethrower, Sea and Bug use Bubblebeam and Bubble, Claw use peck, Dud Rock Throw, Finally Rat use Quick Attack. Everyone aim at the boulders and take them all out!" He says to his loyal and friendly pokemon who where enjoying the fun that they where doing.

They all start the target practise and Flame, Bug, Sea, and finally Rat gain a new level.

NOw it was time for the others to try their luck with the boulders. He knew that they would do the best job they could for this exercise was mostly for fun there wasn't a wrong or a right to this exercise. "Hey Dude how about more Boulders to practice with? Use Rock Throw!" As the gedude follows his masters wishes boulders appeared from not far being thrown in the spots where the rubble of theother boulders where.

This continues and Dude gains another level.

"Good Job everyone do you still want to train or do you think you are ready to face her?" He said to his faithful pokemon John wasn't a hundred percent sure if they where ready or not, but whichever way he did know that they had beome stronger.

OOC:Can you think of something else for them to train on?

OCC: Sure what about them fighting each other?

Flame lets out a confident 'Char' but some other member don't seem to sure.

"Well I know you would be ready Flame i've worked on you too much and so..
Since it looks like the others aren't so sure we should keep at it, but Flame I think you should just watch mostly. I'lll let you know when need you for something okay?" He said as he directed the rest of his energies for the other pokemon in his party.

"Dude I want you to go against Rat in a mini battle. While Sea and Bug battle as well, but don't go voerboard I don't ant you to both KO cause we need to be ready. After you think you've had enough then you switch Rat with Bug and Dude with Sea again DO NOT Ko each other okay?" He said as he looked at the others with a stern and firm stare for it was crucial for them to stayed energitic and alive.

OOC: It was something I though up on the spot.

They do as you order and begin to fight.

They seem to be edging toward being ko'd and switch not before John gives them themuch needed medicine which they need. Then they continue on their battling switching of course. Now Dude is with Sea and RAt with Bug.

The fighting continues and both Sea and Bug gain new levels.

Now it was turn for Dude and Rat to go against each other and for Sea and Bug to go against each other as well. However won would go against that winner and whoever won that one would go against Flame.

OOC: What ya think?

Dude ended up besting Rat, both gaining a level. While Bug wins against Sea, Sea getting the level up.

Now it was time for Bug to go against Dude, bug being part waer would probably best Dude, but hwo knows they start to battle against each other both knowing that they'd be going against their master's best pokemon which wouldbe easy if Bug won, but Dude does have the drive to best bug, but Bug had the type that will win against Dude.

They both fight very hard, but bug being part water won quickly, but Dude gained another level.

Now it was the epic battle against the infamous "Flame the charmelean" This was going to be a hard one.

OOC: Arceus I think this one should be played out ya know?

OCC: Sure.

Water stood ready for Flame's move since he would go first.

He looked at the pathetic, but powerful chinchow that had surpassed all theothers before him. He knew that fire attacks wouldn't do much help. It would only stop the enivitable from happening, so he though he start with a measly quick atack. H charges with his hot body reving up the red coat and his lizard feet picking up pace he was going to bouldoze this puny little bug like it was the front page on the newspaper. It looks like nothing would stop him from smasing thi chinchou into the dirt.

Bug is hit hard by the attack, but seeing how close Flame was it used spark.

The spark cut through him it caught hi attetion like waving a red scarf in front of a mad bull. He shot out a blazing sinching Flamethrower the heat shot straight at the wee creature the heat was searing and hot. It was a straight shot towards he knew it would mostly wound the chinchou it wouldn't knock him out, but yetit woud injure badly though.

Bug lets out a watergun, countering the hot fire. Hopping to cancel out the attack.

The attacks both hit in the middle the water and Fire both taking in and making hot steam. Flame put more into the attack hoping to get to the pokemon and win this one for himself. His eyes showed flames of war and his blood boiled with the heat of molten magma. This was a dual that would make or break him and the chinchou.

Bug sees that both attacks would stay at a stand still, so it stops the watergun and moves away from the flames, seeing a chance it uses watergun again. Determined to win this fight.

Flame barely sees the water gun and ducks, but gets minorly hit by the attack. He hated water he wanted to pummel this pokemon. His rag was building and building. He charged fast as a bullet out of a hot pistol he shot towards the chinchou he was using Quick Attack. He bulldozed towards him.

Bug was hit hard by the attack, but being so stubborn let out a large spark.

OOC: Sorry that I didn't get back to ya sooner

IC:
The spark hit and made him become parylzed, but he was still able to do minor attacks. He decided to trap the little guy and at the same time hurt it. He let out a Giant Fire Spin which both of them where nowtrapped in the vortex and the heat flowed through the flames and could be felt inside. Flame was pleased for he loved the sight and feel of flames.

Bug flinchs back from the harsh heat. It trys a watergun but finds it not effective among the fire.

Johnny saw what was going on and saw that Bug was going to be the one to be in trouble good thing was they where not far from a pokecenter. Although he didn't want Bug to faint.

"Now, now don't you just love this scene? I think its nice here!" Flamesaid in his pokemon language as his eyes showed a gleeful look like this was pleasure to him. He knew that this would and could possibly be the last of bug. He charged forward with the speed of a bullet once more this time it was Rage!

The attack hits and Bug is almost KO'd. Before Flame can think about attacking again, he glows a light silver and his appearence starts to slowly change.

The Fire Spin ends and John sees that something s going on. He pays attention wondering what in the wrld was going on. For he wasn't ready to evolve or was he?

Slowly the silver faddes and a Charmeleon stood in where your once Charmander was. Flame glanced at his new form.

OOC: I already did that, but okay then?

IC:
Flame likes his new form and newfound strength. He flexed his arms and fists he also blew out a beautiful fire from his mouth aiming it upward. He looks at chinchou with his newfound power and wonders if it would be ableto take him on and continue to see who was best.

OCC: sorry.

IC:

Bug shoots out a watergun at the new Flame, hoping that the fire pokemon's health hadn't been recovered, if it had, Bug would be in a tight spot.

It looks like the attack is going to hit, but all he does is moves his head out of the attack and it shoots past where it would of hit. He springs forward with a rage attack that had been ragging for a while. He rushed with the speed of a jungle cat.
