Outside of Pewter...CLOSED

After walking out of Pewter, Karasu came upon a grassy plain with a large rock ledge with an overhang that shaded the ground below. He decided this good place to train and sent out Squirtle, Pidgey, and Rotom. Squirtle was happy to be out of his ball again and Pidgey yawned deeply before lifting off of the ground into a hovering flight. Rotom, happy at his first training session with his new trainer, bounced around eagerly. "Hello everyone, are you ready for some training?" All three pokemon cheered eagerly. "Alright, lets try to find a nice pokemon to battle..." Karasu removed his newly bought PokeRadar and turned it on. A top screen bore a tinted-green radar-like device and the bottom screen showed an information pannel for specific searches. Karasu imputed information to look for a heat source in the area with a canine like appearance, for he was looking for a specific pokemon, Houndour.

::You search for awhile as a dark dog looking pokemon sees you and tries to stealthily creep up on you, but luckily Rotom was able to see it for it was somewhat attracted by it being another dark pokemon. As it still attempts to sneak up on you, finally leaping out at you and Rotom uses thundershock to make the dog looking pokemon to be hit and knocked off of its course as it looks at you now out of the camouflage that it was using you see that it was a Houndour looking you dead in the eyes and Rotom had been able to spot it wihout even seeing it. Which was usually a good thing about having a ghost pokemon for they knew things that others did not for they kinda had a sixth sense for these kind of things.::

"Good, that took shorter than I thought... Rotom, use Confuse Ray followed by a Thundershock!" Rotom shot out an eerie purple aura at the Houndour and then followed up with a large jolt of electricity. "Squirtle, you need experience too, go in there and use Tail Whip then Tackle!" Squirtle joined in the battle and, flicking its tail into the air, charged at Houndour.

::It had taken shorter than usual for the houndour had smelt new blood and it was around its feeding time and was stalking them for possibility of having a nice human snack. Although it was met by that stupid Rotom that spotted him before even trying its best as it was hit by the confuse ray that was commanded by the trainer taht apparently was his master. AS the houndour responded with a Fire Spin covering the grassy area around the two of them to catch fire and creating a vortex that was hot as hell itself unfortunately this didn't help the houndour for the stupid one who attacked was part ghost and so it wouldn't be of much effect, but it would help some. As they are both now encircled by the fire. It was time for the Rotom to try a Thundershock, but this time the houndour was able to see it before hand and moved out of the way moving only an inch away from where the hit would of hit as he sent out an ember attack which did some more helpful damage.::

Rotom, now angry at burns inflicted upon it by the Houndour, started an Uproar. A loud screeching noise was heard as it flew noisily around the Houndour. Squirtle, slill barrelling down on the Hourndour, was hindered by the wall of fire around the battlefield, but, with it being a water-type, was able to get through it and continue to run down it's opponent.

::The uproar upsets the houndour as it recoils and makes him flinch at the same time. It used Ember once more hoping to rundown this opponenet for it was starting to get interested by this opponent.::

Squirtle notices this Ember but is too close to dodge. It tries to leap out of the way but is hit directly in the stomach, causing it to fall back. Rotom, now out of it's Uproar, uses a close-range Confuse Ray followed by a Thundershock. Karasu tries to run to the injured Squirtle but is blocked by the Houndour's wall of flames. He tries to use the pokeball to return Squirtle, but is too far away for the beam to connect.

::The Rotom used its confuse ray which was succesful and made the houndour a little confused, but tried to shake it off which wasn't fast enough and was hit by the thundershock. the attack which followed closely by that last one made it weak as the wall of flames keep up their effect against the Rotom of course. as the houndour keeps on at it for it was a flaw of his kind they weren't easy to catch for they are very prideful pokemon. As it used leer against the opponent hoping to leer it into a trap .::

Rotom was barely but successfully lured into a Leer but was snapped out of it when Squirtle came at the Houndour from the side with a feeble Tackle, not enough to harm it, but enough to cause it to flinch for a moment. Doing so, Squirtle fell to the floor and fainted. Rotom continued his assualt with another Confuse Ray/Thundershock combo, then used Trick to set it off guard.

::The houndour didn't appreciate the feeble tackle eve nthough it was so feeble still the little turtle had interrupted their battle as it unleashed a Bite attack on the squirtle, but apparently wasn't able to for the Rotom had sent the squirtle flying outside the flames and so his attack was for nothing, but he was able to dodge the Confuse Ray that had happened, but wasn't able to dodge both attacks as the Thundershock had hit him right where it stood. AS it started to pant out of being weakened he only had so much of energy left before he would eventually faint, but he didn't want to finish until it was over.::

OOC: Wow, so far I've been to two major cities and already destroyed the interior of a house and caused a forest fire...

IC:
Karasu could barely see what was going on for his vision was blurred from the distorted air waves radiating off the fire. He then remembered his Pidgey (who has now dozed off yet again). He woke it up and commanded, "Pidgey, use Gust on those flames!" It wearily rose to the sky and blew a large gust of air at the wall of fire. It wasn't much, but it was enough for Karasu to get to the other side. He could now see the battle clearly and noticed the Houndour's condition. "Rotom, focus your energy on confusing the target! Confuse Ray!" The Rotom focused on the Houndour and twirled around it rapidly. Eventually, it got close enough to shoot a Confuse Ray at the Houndour. Karasu then maneuvered through the forest towards the back of the Houndour. "Thats good, keep it up!" Rotom followed Karasu's orders and continued to pester the Houndour with a barrage of Confuse Rays.

OOC: funny man! I'm guessing you want to capture the houndour right?

IC:
::This action of course wasn't making it easy to catch the houndour for now it was confused and enraged at the same time this combonation of course wasn't a good thing for now you had a frustrated angry and confused houndour who might burn the entire place down. But he was to confused to even do so as it just stood there with his eyes feeling like the world was moving around him as of course hw was apparently to confused to do any such action against this. Which made it even more frustrated for it had no defense against anything at the moment.::

OOC: Hopefully, I've reasearched it since I made this post. (Fun Fact: As stated in the pokedex entries in Gold, Pokemon Stadium 2, LeafGreen, and Platinum, if a pokemon is burned by the flames it shoots from it's mouth, the pain will NEVER go away )

IC:
Karasu noticed it's temporarily dazed state and used this time to get close enough to throw a Pokeball. It shot through the air and landed on the pokemon, and with a red glare, it was sucked into the sphere. It dropped to the ground, and Karasu waited eagerly to see it's result.

::You watch eagerly as the pokebal shifts around and a red light blinks signaling taht htere was a pokemon inside and was battling against the thing. As it does this the flames are or what was left of it went out as if the fire was connected with the pokemon who started it as the battle continues inside as the pokemon fights and the pokeball tries to coax the houndour down into accepting its new hom. It feels like this had been going for quite awhile when finally it clicked and the pokeball became still for the pokemon finally had given up and accepted its new life with this new trainer.

Karasu picks up the pokeball that now contains Houndour, and sends it out. "Good work everyone, you all deserve a good meal." He set up bowls on a nearby flat slab of rock. He takes out the bag of pokemon food and pours some in each bowl. Houndour, Squirtle, and Pidgey run over and devour the food eagerly. "I'm sorry Rotom, but we'll need to find an electrical sorce for you to eat." Rotom seemed dissapointed, but wasn't hungry enough to really care. "Also, we'll have to find an electrical device for you to possess. I've read that a Rotom's power is increased greatly after obtaining a new electronical form." After everyone was finnished eating, Karasu returned them to their pokeball, and started making his way towards Pewter City.
