Poll about the site

Okay I need an opinion on this. Arceus hasn't been on in a while and Lazarus and I have been wondering about whether the site should still keep going like it is or to at least have a backup site if the case that she never does return. So what I guess I am saying is, would anyone be interested in a replacement site until further notice. The reason why I am asking this is because my companion doesn't know this systems forum admin panel as well as one like proboards or some others. If there are any suggestions please feel free to add them. Of course I am going to be for it.

No thats not it at all, the owner has been missing in action. Thats why there is this concept. It will be pretty much the exact same thing just a possible different forum style. That way people can get the fullest pleasure out of playing pokemon. What Laz and I are looking into is a way for him to be able to help the users better by being able to access a admin panel that will work for him. See he has a visual impairment and can't see that well. So its hard for him to read the panel and that. I myself can read it of course, but I am not as familiar with this style of board system. Neither is my friend. Were just looking at the best interests of the players and how well there experience on the site is. After all Laz has told me he has been running an over haul for you guys and has been feeling very bad that he doesn't think that he is doing his optimal for all of you. That the biggest reason as to why. Yes the site is great thats why were trying to make it so people can have a better time. Thanks for your opinion though I am glad that you show concern for the site.

I rather keep the site, but just in case Arceus DOES come back and decide to delete the site, I would like a backup. But we could still do this site. But do any of you admins know her in real life? Maybe Lazerus knows her, and he could maybe take control. He's been answering everybody's posts for a while now. So...

No Lazarus doesn't know her personally in real life. Both him and I only know her from online. He and I have both been trying to get a hold of her. The thing is guys what you are failing to see is that I not only and trying to look to your bests interests. But also those of Lazarus due to his sight problem. He can't do this stuff on his own and neither of us feel that its a good idea to do to much to the site without Arceus' consent. That's why we feel that there needs to be a back up. I can only help Lazarus to an extent. I don't highly know too much about pokemon, so I mostly do the making of boards and that. But I really don't feel right doing much of anything without Arceus here to approve of it. After all this particular one is her site. And I would feel wrong in changing any of it really much. And as I said before. Lazarus is getting wore way down and getting in well over his head. He's the pokemon cordinator and that. He was just supposed to find out what the many pokemon were out there and then moderate them in to make sure that you guys got the best experience. The concept of the other site would mostly be as a backup. Nothing will totally change, just the ownership, and a possible easier format for the admin control panel. It very difficult to navigate the panel that this forum has. Look really I am just trying to do the best I can for you guys and for the sanity of the staff. But as always your opinions are your all your guys own. And I do appreciate the feedback.

Hey everyone jut to clear up a fewthings I had asked Eon to do this for me cause I have a sight problem adn can't really get around on this site as easily as others and we aren't asking for a new one, just a backup one. On this site there is room for improvement for people to try and get on the admin spots adn be able to help future trainers. It'll be better and the site might look better as well. We're just asking if you want to switch it over and don't worry ALL information will be transferred over to this possible new site. So people who are REALLY into roleplaying as pokemon and their trainers will understand we are only asking that if you want to get on a different one possibly made where the Head Admin will be on all the time for it will be myself indeed. So if you like roleplaying these guys, want to try and become an admin, and be able to help with the site then I hope everyone will be for the cause and don't worry about all your precious information on anything it will be transferred over. And just to let you know Eon will probably be creating it and doing the graphics, but it doesn't mean you can have a say in the matter. I hope you all understand my predicament and its up to you guys your vte counts and make it as in your own mind and not for what I need, but just remember why we are thinking of transferring everything and what not.

I REALLY want to keep the site (I just meant all the characters on here, and then transferring it to another is okay) and I know how hard it would be to look at a screen and your visually impaired. So Lazerus, your doing a great job with the site, and maybe you could get another admin, cause I know I can't do it. So do whatever type of site you want to do, as long we trainers can role play with this awesome site!

So Caleb if a new site comes along and everything gets transferred and what not can I count on you to want to get on that one as well? This site would just be dormant until if and that is a big if Arceus returns which isn't going to be for awhile cause we've tried contacting her. I've tried Pming her and Emailing her and that was oh.. a couple months back and still no answer back so if this site goes down into the gutter would you be a loyal asset on this said new site?

maybe...we will need people to help out....and if you would like there will be sign ups for a position on the other site. This site will still be here for reference sake and maybe other stuff. But if there is a transfer of all info and I mean all. And the site is created we definitely will need people who can help out.

I'm not around the computer a whole lot, (Since we don't have internet) so I wouldn't be able to get on and update it or whatever, every day.

Thats alright its just a thought for us to consider

Well is this poll still going on? Any news yet on back up? I just started on this site but have been on many pokemon rpg forums before and every single fuzzled out sooner or later. I want this site to last so whatever it takes to last (as long as I can bring my character with me). Oh by the way, I can help out in anyway possible.. I am on the computer/internet daily either on forums or playing LOTRO/WoW so I can help with moderating the forum and I know a little HTML also...

Yes unfortunately it is done and over there is a backup or a secondary site already up and running and has been gaining members!
