Catching Pokemon

Amaya walked into the field. Her, Rosa, and Feelers had been traveling all night. They were tired, but like usual, she still had energy.

Amaya: All right, Rosa, you and Feelers seem tired so you two take a nap... I'll keep watch.

They flopped down on the grass. Feelers was only partially asleep. Amaya walked around them in a continuous circle. She heard a rustling in the bushes and woke her Pokemon up. They both heard it to.

Amaya: Rosa, you up for that fight that I promised you? If Feelers likes the Pokemon, then we'll catch it, alright?
Rosa: Budew! (Alright!)

Rosa was tired, but her and Amaya both had confidence in her. Feelers was glad that his companion had the chance to get stronger as well as he did. Then, hearing their voices a wild Pokemon stepped out. It was a...

::You go to investigate the weird sounds coming from the shrub in which she had seen earlier and heard the noise firsthand as tehy came in closer and closer finally it came time to see what this pokemon was and if it was ready for a battle! As you take your hands spreading the bushes apart something streaks out of the darkness ofthe shrub into the briht sunlit field as it showed itself it was a sandshrew who was wild and normally found in a more mountain and rocky area had made its way here to find some kind of food and found you three here...::

Amaya was surprised that it had come so far away from it's home.

Amaya: Feelers, do you want to catch it, or let Rosa battle it? Your decision since your holding the Pokeball.
Feelers: ...Ralts! Ral ral!!(We should catch it!!!)
Amaya: All right, so I'm gonna let Rosa weaken it, though, okay?

Both her Pokemon nodded.

Amaya: Rosa, use Absorb!

Rosa dashed forward, and tried to absorb some of Sandshrew's energy...

::The sandshrew started off with Tackle as it ran forward to attack, but was meet by the budew as it sprang its absorb attack on him as the energy was pulled out of him and transferred into the budew as it became stronger as the sandshrew became weaker. The tackle still was able to hit the budew even though it was weaker...::

Amaya: Alright, Rosa you feeling all right? Good. Now, use Absorb once more!

Amaya reached down to get the pokeball from Feelers and he gladly gave it to her. She knew that Sandshrew wasn't quite weak enough to catch quite yet, she figured that in about another few hits it would be, since grass types are strong against ground types. Rosa prepared to attack once more, and...

::The Budew was able to take more of its energy out of its body as the sandy colored sandshrew was injured once again. Its energy was drained and sent to the Budew who was doing a grand job of weakening the opponent as it used sand-attack hoping to blind the pokemon enough to get another attack off on its next turn as it awaits to see if it would be a good move or not for who knows the sand might not of worked on blinding, but the only thing that it could definitely tell is that the defense would drop some.::

Amaya: Alrite, nice job, Rosa. Try to use Absorb again, though I know that it's hard for you to see.

Rosa looked through the layer of sand, found her mark, and attacked.

::Even though the sand had covered the Budew's sight it was still able to get off another attack as it gathered more energy from the sandshrew as it finally found itself running out of energy for the budew kept up on absorbing his energy and so he tries once more to succesfully get the better of this pokemon by using yet another tackle attack as it rushed in forward with speed...::

Amaya: Rosa, dodge and then use Absorb once more!

Amaya was hoping that after this attack, she would be able to catch the wild Sandshrew that had wandered so far from it's home. As Sandshrew came forward with it's Tackle, and Rosa got ready to dodge, Amaya was only feeling joy that both her Pokemon were seeming to grow stronger.

::The sandshrew was barely able to escape the attack, but the energy was still able to be stripped from itself. It became even weaker and this pokemon was taing advantage of it. As it did another yet powerful tackle this time putting all of his lasting strength and energy into it making sure this time not to be avoided yet again as it rushed in fast producing a ton of strength that was left in its system into the attack itself...::

Amaya: Rosa, dodge! And now... I think it's time...

Amaya activated the Pokeball, preparing to throw it, only hoping that it would be weak enough for this was their only Pokeball... Rosa and Feelers eyed the Pokeball and then the Sandshrew as Amaya threw the Pokeball.

::As the sandshrew came forth in a rush it is surprised by the sudden turn of events as the pokeball is flung at it hitting him and being sucked inside. Now the fight was the one inside the pokeball as it was on the ground shifting back and forthand a red light on the ball was flashing. the two of you now wait to see what will happen next...::

OOC: I'll still try 2 get on as often as posible, but I think I'll be over the flu in about two to three days... I'm not sure... I still feel sick, but I'm forcing my self to the computer cause really, what else is there to do when your sick, ya know?

IC: Amaya eyed the Pokebal on the ground warily, silently wishing for the Pokemon to be caught. Rosa and Feelers were, too, eyeing the Pokeball warily with the same expression on all three faces. Amaya looked at her Pokemon and was happy that she made it this far with them. She had a flashback of the day that she was found by Feelers and his family and silently smiled at the random memory. The Pokeball shook on the ground as the Sandshrew attempted to escape, and...

::As finally the pokeball stoppped moving back and forth. The sandshrew was finally caught the sandshrew is a male Lv. 5 and knows Tackle, Growl, and Tail whip. You go forth to collect your new pokemon.::

Amaya walked up to the Pokeball after the light flashed and threw it in the air.

Amaya: Come on out, Sandshrew! Now, hi! I'm Amaya and this is Rosa and Feelers.
Sandshrew: Sand... shrew... (translation: What are you going to do with me?)
Amaya: We just want you to travel with us and help us meet more Pokemon. In turn, you will also get stronger.

Sandshrew looked happy as Rosa and Feelers approached him. It took only minutes for them all to become friends.

::You return Rosa and Sandshrew back into their pokeballs as you put them back on your belt. As you and Feelers both walk through returning on your long journey. Following the path at hand keeping a watchful eye out for anything a trainer or a pokemon or something else that would be suspicious to her....::
