| "Hmmmm..." sounded Dexter observing the lake, "Well, time to put that oddish to good use" he said releasing the pokemon then casting out with rod, as the float hit the water it made a *PLOP*, "Now time to wait". | |

| ::YOU and your oddish sit in wait as you wonder if you would get a pokemon out ofthe water or if it will be in vain. Sooner or later you et tired and you think that i would be a lost cause in trying to capture a water pokemon except that is whe n you notic that your bobber went under the surface into the watery depths below a pokemon had tugged on the line and you had a bite will you let it get away with the bait or will you bring it up to its watery heaven and to the surface?:: | |

| Feeling the strain on the line Dexter started to tug and reel. "HAHAHAHA! Get ready oddish!", seeing the pokemon asleep, Dexter kicked it...hard, but not too hard. Finally hearing the satisfiying splash of the pokemon coming out the water, he turned his head back to water, to see what was on his line. | |

| ::YOu pull hard making it come swiftly out of the water as it dangled ther like a fish literally out of water. Alhtough it was only a mere Magikarp that had caught on your line. Will you reel it in and toss it back to try again or will you battle it to get more experience under your belt? You decide as the life of this pokemon hanged in th e balance:: | |

| ::The magikarp fresh out of the water was hit with half the normal force that the growlithe would of given for a ackle as it struck. As the magikarp only used a splash attack which didn't do much effect to the fire pokemon.:: | |

| ::As the magikarp lay there it was suddenly wall swallowed up by the pokeball as it was drawn by the red beam inside as it battled with it now it landed onthe ground and now it was time to wait as the pokeball moved back and forth and around and a red light lit on the outside beeping as the magikarp battled with the pokeball....
It seemed like hours which it was only mere minutes until you finally heard the click ofthe pokeball as the battle was through and the magikarp secum to the pokeball Congratulations you have caught
(Nickname optional)_ Species: Magikarp Male Lv. 10 Attacks: Splash, Ruby: MAGIKARP is a pathetic excuse for a POKéMON that is only capable of flopping and splashing. This behavior prompted scientists to undertake research into it. Sapphire: MAGIKARP is virtually useless in battle as it can only splash around. As a result, it is considered to be weak. However, it is actually a very hardy POKéMON that can survive in any body of water no matter how polluted it is. Fire Red: It is virtually worthless in terms of both power and speed. It is the most weak and pathetic POKéMON in the world. Leaf Green: In the distant past, it was somewhat stronger than the horribly weak descendants that exist today. So will you keep on fishing or will you go look for other game to gain experience?:: | |
