Travel to Pewter City CLOSED

After getting to a pokecenter and refreshing his pokemon he traveled towards Pewter City. ON the way you had to go through a cave to get there. He saw that his bike wouldn't be able to take the rough terrainso hefolded it up. "Flame come on out and light the way!" The charmander came out and he used its tail to light the way in the cave. He started walking rather slow he took off his shades showing his beautiful blue eyes.
Then he saw some cool looking pokemon in here, he kept on his path when he accidentally bumped into a Geodude and the geodude seeing Flame thought that i wanted to battle or Capture it so it attacked.
OOC: Anyone wanna do the geodude?

The geodude jumps at Flame, ready to fight.

OOC: I already astablished that, but thanx for getting it started.

"Flame charge it and use flamethrower" John hoping that Flame could withstand this rock pokemon. Cause he's only withstand only a normal type so far. 'Come on Flame hit your mark and make me proud' He thinks to himself. His hair sporting the same color as the cave itself. Along with wearing a somewhta worried look for Flame.

Geodude rolls away and counters with rock throw.

John looks back with disappointment at Flame missing the target. He tugs at his black hair making it a bit messy. Then putting it back to how it was. "alright , ok, its alright. Flame return." He points the pokeball at him. "Go Sea use Water Gun" A beautiful Horsea comes out of the pokeball and she aims a spray of water aiming for the geodude. John has his fingers crossed with a hopeful look on his face. Hoping that he'd be able to injure the geodude, but not making it KO as well.

Geodude rolls back hurt but still stands.

Now he has a look of glee cause Sea made her mark on the wild pokemon. Not getting cocky he said "Now let's see how much Take Down does Sea" She aimed again for Geodude and raised her body into the air landing on the geodude hoping that she'd do some damage, but also making sure that she didn't KO it. Johnny with confidence watches this transpire.

Geodude jumps back with another rock throw which Sea dodges and counters with a water gun. Not Koing the pokemon.

Blaze thinking this would be a good time to attempt at capturing it he holds back Sea and throws a pokeball at the geodude. Hoping that he'd be successful. His nerves tensed as it got close...

The pokeball hits. Rocking back and forth, a click is heard. You caught Geodude! It's Lv. 4 knows tackle and Rock Throw.

He walks up to the pokeball and pockets it. "Well i guess i'm gonna have to heal that one when we appear on the other side. Oh by the way good job Sea here have one of these" He throws a pokeblock to her and she eats with success in her. She finishes eating "Okay you deserve a good rest" as he returns Sea to her pokeball. "Alright Flame need some light come on out." Flame comes out with disappointment that he wasn't able to do anything against that geodude. "Don't Worry Flame i'll let you continue in the next one okay?" The fire pokemon perks up with promise of getting attention. They continue through the cave to get to Pewter. They make a good distance stopping here and there to get better look at the footsteps ahead of them and to get drink from underground streams.
The party finds pokemon showing up here and there letting them know that it was getting close to nighttime so they made camp, John had made sure to pack some wood at their last campsite forthis occasion. He gets food ready for him and Flame for they where the only ones out and the others needed rest to regaun their strength. So he and flame ate in peace and had a round of sharades and such after which turning in for the night. John and Flame awoke with a start they heard a loud thud that carried through the cave wondering waht it was he got dressed and went in search leaving his campsite. Then he heard a grunt from the sound that had awoken him he now knew it was a rhyhorn so he went back to his campsite Flame at his heels. They settled down again thinking of if the pokemon was still there they'd see about it.

Morning came finally at least what they thought as morning and started to get everything ready to leave. it took them over three hours to do. Then they continued towards Pewter. Hoping to spot that Rhydon that they had heard in the night. But it seemed unwise for him with little experience and his pokemon not being tough enough to possibly take on a rhydon at the moment. But he did however run into a Zubat and figured that he'd do some training with Flame get him up to snuff.

The Zubat flys toward Flame with a life drain, Flame jumps out of the way, waiting for your command.

"Flame let's see if we can get this one over quick" As he loks to Flame with a compassionate look and then faces the zubat with a cool smile on his face and the look that he gave his pokemon vanished. "Alright Flame Flamethrower now!" He aimed carefully and shot out a nice hot orange and red flame towards the zubat hopingto hit his point. John having confidence in his first one he did worry, but not as much as the others. He still has hopes that they'd win.

Flame jumps at Zubat with a flamethrower again.

"Alright good job Flame. Do Agility let's try to confuse this bat from hell!" As he says this Flame starts to move fast around the pokemon hoping to confuse the pokemon. He was going so fast that he looked like a red blure.

Zubat twist around quickly in the air making the pokemon dizzy.

"Now use Scratch and Finish with another Flamethrower!" He called to Flame as he saw the dizzy Zubat. Hoping that it being confused wouldn't be able to defend itself against the attacks coming towards it. John saw that they'd be able to take this pokemon down fast. So he watched as Flame went in for the KO.

Flame did as he was told and missed with one, but hit it with the other. It hit the wild Zubat squarely and it went down with a thud. The group go on toward what they think is the exit to this cavernous cave. They hit what seems to be a wall, but it's actually a backside of a Graveler, but instead of battling it they retreat and found another way.

They backtracked and tried to find a different way cause Flame had just gone against a good couple of pokemon and was getting tired. They found what looked like another way around, but in retrospect they ran into the frontside of a different graveler. Hopeing that it wouldn't want to fight they stood in wait. To decide they did and finally John turned his head to look at Flame "Get behind me Flame your tired let someone else take this one" He obeyed and stood a foot behind his master. "Alright then Sea come on out" and a refreshed Horsea came out of the pokeball rearing for a fight. "Alright you want a fight graveler you've got one. Sea use Bubble Beam on Graveler." She took aim and a splash of bubbles went graveler's way hoping that they'd hit him.

The attack hits and Graveler counters with rock throw, which Sea quickly dodges.

"Good job Sea!" he looked at her with a positive energy flowing from him to her. "Now counter with Hail!" She tookaimand sent a shower of wet white pebbles started to shower over Graveler and herself. Of course her being a Water pokemon could take it, but it hurt Graveler cause of it being a Graveler.

The stone titan started to weaken from the hail that Sea had thrown onto him and the storm kept on and he kept on getting weaker by each hit. Johnny took this as a sign of wondering what to do whenit came time toeither KO or capture. For he had a Geodude already and it'd evolve into one of these all though it'd be good either way. As soon as Graveler had gotten hit for at least a third time he called out "Sea Take Down" she took aim ready to strike her energy pushed her forward to take down this sorry excuse of a small rock wall. Although the rock being heavy the attack just bounced off of him and she was in trouble cause she coul be vulnerable to an attack right about now.

Sea jumps away avoiding a rock throw then attacks with another watergun. KOing the rock pokemon. Sea has grown to Lv. 10

Blaze was amazed and disappointed at the same time he was hoping to have a new pokemon to add to his party. He was amazed of Sea for concouring the rock pokemon. Although it wasn't to hard to over throw for he was rock and she was water. They continued on his way he didn't like the dark that much and didn't want to be alone. So he let out Flame again and was joined to blaze's side. They started forwad and through the cave, but blaze had gotten a little tired from all of thee adventures and they made camp for the night in a secluded place fo as not to be interrupted by other pokemon through the cave.

The next morning both of you awake early and again begin your hike through the cave.

The two of them awoke early and started some breakfast for him and his pokemon he opened up the pokeballs and coming out where his party as of present. "Morning All!" He said to all of them.

Flame: yawns... "Morning
Sea: Morning
Rat: Hey Y'all
Dude: I'm not a morning pokemon

Blaze continues to make breakfast and lets the others do what may while waiting. Flame just sat next to the fire and help with what he could. Sea however filled a pot full of wate just because and jumped in it feeling good about it. Rat started to wash her face and that. Dude however snoozed fo awhile. The sounds of food filled the campsite and it brought them close to whee their maste and Flame was. "Aww. how the sounds of food does wonders." He had said to himself as he saw them daw close it even awoke Dude from his reverence sleep. They all chewed with silence and then they helped with cleaning of the site making it look like no one was there. "Thanks for the help everyone. Now we better get heading and we'll start with getting you guys (as he pointed to the est) back in you pokeballs so we can travel easier" He pointed thei individual balls and they returned fee will. "Okay let's head Flame" He had left him out for some light to lead thir way through the cave.
So they had traveled a good distance when they saw a pack of Poochyena and that popping out of the ground for the morning themselves having a good night sleep and not being awoken by other wilds. They didn't meet anything for a while until they turned a coner and there was a small drop and it had looked like they'd have to jump to get down, but there was the poblem of getting back out when it came to it. So they kept on it until thee was a ravine with a small brook running through it and they stopped to get a drink all of them. Then they continued through the cave that had seemed to continue fo ages and was vigilance of darkness in which they had to travel in order to get to the next town and possible plans for training even though it had looked like they where getting their training hee in the caves.

You continue through the cave. Slowly you see a bright light a head. Marking the exit.

The duo saw the brilliant light coming from the exit of the cave when they had spotted something coming towards them at an alarming fast rate. He saw as Johnny and Flame where avoiding it by stepping aside saw that it was a Aron and as soon as the pokemon saw that it had avoided its target turned around and came back to try again. This time John steepped to te sdie Flame hoever wanted to battle and so he shot a spurt of fire from its mouth towards the Aron, but since it was a Steel pokemon it didn't do much of an affect to it, but the Aron got the picture that he wanted to battle.

The Aron charges at Flame with a quick tackle.

Flame sorta forsaw this happening and sidesteps while trailing his tail out as if to trip the Aron and make it fall on its Flame on the end of its tail. Which did cause of how fast it was going. Then as it had looked as if the Aron was hurt or something it attacked with Steel Claw hoping to meet its mark and which it does right on Flame's outstretched arm as it was trying to avoid another run at him.

Aron's attack misses and Flame uses a quick attack on the pokemon throwing it back.

As Flame is battling thi pokeon Johnny checks his Pokedex to find out a little more about this pokemon.

Flame sees taht he is doing a swell job at defending himself. All of a sudden Aron does a md slap aiming for Flam'es eye which minorly blinds him. Then the aron follows up with quick attack hoping that the fire pokemon would be blind enough for the attacks to go through. Meanwhile Flme is trying to clear his eyes and uses his ears for the momnt to replace his eyes while he was rubbing themud out of them.

OC: Your Turn

Flam manages to stumble to the side avoiding the attack. Hearing the pokemon Flame turns around and attacks with a flamethrower.

Aron got the full hit of it and starte to get weak, but it still wanted t ofitght to the end and so it came at it again with steel claw hoping to make its mark at the same time Flame does Scratch hoping to meet his mark as well. Wll they meet up in the middle? Who knows it might be a little close.

Flame's attack hits first, throwing Aron against a near by wall. The steel pokemon stood up again and charged at Flame with takedown.

Flame tried contering with scratch hoping to attack and dodge the attack at the same time. Aron was charging at the same time as Flame was trying to attack as well.

John looked at the battle waiting to see when it bea logical timing to capture the pokemon. For it was a new kind and it looked good enough and was powerful enough as well. He kept watch on the onsluaght of the battle seeing who would prevail.

OOC: Arceus let me know when its a good time to capture when its time that is.

Aron was hit by the scratch and was thrown back, the pokemon quickly attacked again, this time with a steel claw.

Aron's attack hits home true and slices up Flame's arm leavig a white hot pain. The place that had just ben hit left three detectable claw marks. The marks looked as if knives not to their full sharpness cut into his arm. This enrages the fire inside Flame ashe puts caution to the wind and throws a brilliant burst of red and gold flames with the heat of the sun itself aimed directly towards Aron. Flame had faith that his attack would strike home and rid him of this foe. Also hoping that the pokemon would at least have a pinch of health just enough to be caught by his master and friend.

Aron stood shakly after the harsh attack and falls to its knees. Almost to weak to move.

Flame was standing stock still ready to finish it and was about to use another flamethrower, but John stopped him before he could kill it "Wait let's see if we can capture it ight?" He said to flame as he threw a pokeball with the hope of one wantin to win at something really big. Flame was sill eminating smoke and angry waves came from him, but waited to see the outcome. If Aron was caught then he'd have to take it out on something else. If it didn't get caught then no matter what he'd KO it in an instance. For now however they stay stuck in limbo and wait for the pokemon to decide.

The pokeball clicks, but continues to shake. Finally after a serise of clicks Aron burst from the pokeball still determined to fight.

It had looked as if Flame was given his wish and started back in it. Ready to fight till one of them would KO the other. it had started getting hot around were he was as if the heat was pouring out of hisbody in pools of sweat, but no it wasn't sweat it was anger. A rage of a fire salamander and wanted to get back at this punk for what he'd done to his arm. Flam lashed out with the fury of his kind and slashed, charged, and spit flames it seemed all at the same time, but no he was taking his time for he wanted to show this pokemon that no one pisses of Charmander no matter what. Aron tried dodging all he could and came back with claws, teeth, and charges itself for the steel pokemon are suppose to be very head strong and tough as nails or so it has been told.

The battle becomes a war between Fire an Steel wondering when the other would attack and dodge and what would be thrown at the other at the same time. They where using their nogons so to say. John is just watching this in horror not imagining that this is what would happen. He tried his best to call it off for if one was to be KOed who knows who for they had looked as if they where matched blow for blow.

Flame charged forward with a flamethrower, Aron attacking with a steel claw to the side. Flam rolled away and attacked with a agility, Throwing Aron back. Flame and Aron continued this, flame getting hit and the same with Aron. Finally Flame attacked with a final blow, he managed to throw the steel pokemon back, KOing the pokemon, Flame gains 2 levels and learns a new move, Rage.

OCC: I had no problem with it. Infact i loved it. Pretty cool how you made Flame all angry. thats how I gave him the new move, since he was angry and all.

Flame was happy that he was able to show that pokemon what Fire pokemon have that Steel doesn't. John however was a little disappointed for that would of made a good addition to there party, but still it was good to see that Flame was able to get more experience added to him. It looked as if it'd be getting close to evolving. Then again it depends They followed each other out of the cave and into sunshine which stung there eyes from being in the dark for so long. "Well buddy we're finally out of there. What ya think should we take a nice break to just relax?"

Flame: Sure that sounds like a good idea to me.

"Okay then come on out guys!" He said as he threw up the other pokeballs and out came the others. Rat came out full of energy. Sea came out ready to have fun. Dude revealed himself ad just landed on the ground read yfor anything. They started to make camp early so they could just stay there with their journey so close to another huge city.
