~ The outskirts of Pallet Town can be a challenge for any new pokemon trainer. Fresh, dense forestry surrounds the small town but in its deep, dark shadows there is something to fear even more. This would be the tunnel systems in which interlink itself with well known areas such as mount moon and mount silver. A young man by the name of Ren is one of the few young men that challenges this fear head on...~

~ Ren walks to the lip of the closest cave as he slowly walks threw the Pallet Town Bush. After stopping for a moment, Ren clicks his only Pokeball and a young Pokemon with a dense skull on his head materializes at his side. ~

Ren - Be careful, Cubone, this may get messy. One thing I don't want you to forget is that you are the leader of the pack. Show it when we come face to face with the obstacles to come...

~ Cubone nods, his sight never staring anywhere but forward. The pair slowly dissipate into darkness as they move farther and farther into the cave, looking for the first Pokemon they will encounter. ~

::As you go inside the dark cavern with hope of finding some kind of pokemon for to either train your beloved cubone or something to catch and become part of your gang. Using only the whites of your eyes as they adjusted you start to see more around you the same goes for your cubone as your brain itches wondering who, what, where, when as you walk gracefully only using the light that you have available to you. Faint lines of rock etching the walls and a faint path that laid before you guiding your way through the abyss.::

"Cubone do you hear anything?"

~ Both trainer and Pokemon stop in unison. Silence sweeps between them and suddenly Cubone grunts in response. With his limited vision, Ren begins running behind Cubone's outline. After what feels like forever the two finally stop.~

"Cubone? Do you see something?"

::Cubone tried to use its keen eyes to try and make out any other outlines that was when it did however it wasn't a pokemon, but a trainer who had a little gift to add to your arsenal then something turned on and blinded you at a moments notice it was a torch or a flashlight more like it and you heard a voice "Hey there you might need this in here its a little dark don't you think?" As he held out something towards you for you to obtain will you or will you try to use your own light?:

~ Ren stares blindly at the man in front of him. For a split moment, thoughts went threw his head of an old friend. It quickly dissipated though and he shakes his head. Cubone looks up at his trainer quizzicly. ~

"I'm sorry. Thanks but no thanks I have my own. Cubone and I are just looking to train around in this cave. I like the darkness. I find it makes our sences keener."

~ Cubone nods in approval and raises his little bone club. Suddenly a crashing noise is heard further down one of the tunnels ahead. ~

::The trainer was amist that you hadn't taken his little gift that would of given ya more light, but still he was persistant "Well I insist you have it!" As he gives you a HM that contains the move Flash you take it with somewhat of ascowl and that was when you heard the crashing noise throughout the cave what was it? Was it a pokemon or was a bunch of rock falling down? As you go in search of what it was leaving the trainer there to wait for someone else to help. You walk downthe path still faint to you andthe cubone as you go to investigate what it was. Until you saw that a bunch of rock had fallen, but the reason it had fallen was cause of an Onix whohadn't really moved that much. Seeing its two lights which where its eyes it was really high up close to the ceiling. So what will you do about this?::

~ Ren stares forward calmly. Cubone hesitates slightly, but upon glimpsing his master, Cubone calms down to a slow breath. Ren bends down, staring in the same direction as Cubone and talks lightly and calmly. ~

" This is a real test, Cubone. You know you can manage this situation. Stay calm... he hasn't noticed us yet which will give us an advantage. Take a moment to focus your thoughts and energy into one straight feeling. Take that focus and go forward for a skull bash. Be wary..."

~ Ren stands back up as Cubone closes its eyes. After moments of silence, Cubone suddenly opens its eyes and launches threw the air, its arms out at its sides. A draft wafts past Cubone as he flies toward Onix. ~

::As the onix's beady eyes adjusted to the darkness trying to focus them to see if there was anything at its so to put it feet although he was oblivious to the attack in which was taken to him as he felt the breeze adn then soon followingthe blow of something that seemed like it was a body that had struck him. Takingthe hit it didn't effect much asit tok a sliver of its energy which made your cover blown as it did see something at the foot of its large boedy it was small for he was great. That was when it struck back using Tackle coming towards the little thing with its monstrous body head first bowing down towards the ground to meet the opponent with its body. Will it hit or will cubone be small enough to dodge it quick enough to get out without a scratch?::

~ With an unchanged expression, Ren yell to Cubone. ~

"Jump!"

~ Cubone jumps up as Onix slams down with a tackle attack, narrowly missing him. ~

"Use skull bash! Aim for the tip of his head!"

~ Ren urgently yells his message as he knows where Onix's weaknesses are. ~

::As the Onix came down towards the earth's crust the Cubone jumped just barely being hit by the Onix making a big dent into the cavern floor now with the onix shifting its weight raising its head once more, but didn't move it quick enough as it felt something collide with its own head the cubone had struck making its skull bash count. Your partner landed on the ground as the onix went back downward to the ground being knocked off guard and once again raising its head as it saw the hole in whcih it had made there was a good sized crater in the ground before it. AS it tried once more this time using wrap as its iron coils started to twitch and find the cubone to wrap it and cutting some of its energy which it did for some reason the Onix was able to get its coils around it fast enough to capture the little pokemon question is what will you do now that your friend is being incased by the rocky coils of the onix?::

"Relax, Cubone. Relax your muscles and flail your body around to get yourself free. Once you have get behind that huge boulder over there!"

~ Ren Points to his right where a large boulder sits there. A bead of sweat falls from Ren's nose as he watches his friend suffer. ~

"You can do it!"

::The giant iron tyrant looked down at its high gaze down to the Cubone whom was struggling within its grasp which was like a vice. Watching with a hint of glee as it squirmed and tried its best to get out as its strength never wavered it went one, two, three, four rounds until finally the cubone was able to at least out of its grasp and escaped towards a giant boulder that hid its appearance from the eye of the iron snake. it did however go towards hoping to bust it up, but was not able to its tackle was for nie as it crumbled the rock to bits, but the Cubone didn't withstand any damage from the hit now it was back in your court it was your turn to try and take it again off its guard?::

"I know we haven't practiced this yet..."

~ Ren closes his eyes and clenches his fists/ ~

"This is our only chance! Get in close and swing your club. Give it all you got!"

~ Ren hopes in his head that Cubones gets that Ren means he wants him to use Bone Club, an attack they have never practiced before. ~

::As the cubone was concentraing to try and attempt this attackthe giant iron beast as it stayed there motionless at the moment. Looking down from its loftly perch. Fianlly the little pokemon was able to as it raised its bone in which it carried a lot and brought it down right on the iron coils making the onix lose some energy as it seemed to make some movement from that attack as it came barreling down then in mid attack changed its mind and went towards some boulders and started to hit them with its tail it was using Rock Throw as the boulders hwere being chucked at the tiny ground pokemon.::

"Get around the rocks and hit him with another Bone Club! Not much longer my friend."

~ Ren clenches his teeth and motions his hand toward the bag around his waist... ~

::The Onix used its tail sending one rock in whichthe Cubone was able to get around the second just barely missing its head as it landed just inches of Ren and the third well it struck thecubone as it fell to the ground andthe rock flying and landing farther than the pokemon. Although the little guy had got back up as fast as he had fallen and still was ready to deliver its own blow as it ran full speed toward the onix and while doing so raised its club of bone and it came down upon the coil which was a little way above the ground making the Onix fall adn a laarge earth shattering crash was heard making other pokemon shudder from the sound of it Taking its time it came back upwards casting its long shadow among the already dark enough corridor. As it looked down and tried once again to use Tackle this time hoping to attack adn make the little guy fly once more will he or will the pokemon be uick enough to dodge it?::

"Cubone, get out of the way!"

~ Ren grits his teeth as he grabs down at his pouch on his hip. He pulls out a Pokeball and touches the little button on the front. The Pokeball becomes bigger and he begins to pitch it at the weakened onix. ~

"Pokeball go!"

::THe onix came towards as a train barreling down the track in which as the perail was immenent the cubone leapt out of the way in which you threw the pokeball almost in good timing as it struck the onix as it was in mid-attack its solid density was transformed inward and was now incased in the pokeball asit lay there immobile and shifting back and forth its red light blinking as the rage inside was being broken down into submission!You and your accomplice the tiny cubone await for its judgement on wether it would be capture or that it would be able to escape its captivity. Almost feling like forever finally you hear the silent subtle click and the red light became dark....
