Say, 4 foot. He wears overalls, and usually wears them with the suspenders off his shoulders. He wears a plain white t-shirt, and brown leather shoes, and his trademark beret. He always carries around a messenger bag, which holds his easel, canvases, paper, pencils, brushes, paint color, and color charts. (It's a big bag) He has light brown hair, calm green eyes, and a big smile on his face that will never wear off.

Hometown: Floaroma Town, which is where he gets his love for nature and beauty, and of course, colors.

History: His mother and father were both famous artists. He is a cousin of Tracey Sketchit, another talented Pokemon sketcher. When he was old enough to handle a paintbrush and a pencil, his parents gave him a flower to draw, to see if he had the talent. Trace tried, and failed. Discouraged, he ran off into the woods and found to Pokemon playing together. The duo were a Ditto and Smeargle. The Smeargle had a blank canvas and was painting the Ditto's pose. The Ditto was posing as the same flower that Trace intended to draw. Inspired, he picked up the paintbrush again and began to paint. He failed, but tried again and again. Eventually, he painted a perfect picture of a tulip. The Ditto and Smeargle were nearby, and they were amazed at Trace's painting. They joined him as his partners, and they began to sketch, paint, sculpt, and play together. Trace decided to test himself in Pokemon battling, so he could master two art- the art of painting, and the art of battle. So Trace and company traveled to Kanto to begin his journey.

Personality: Trace has a curious personality. He always wants to learn more and more about the world, and about the people who inhabit it. He is also creative and imaginative, and sketches some unusual drawings which can be found pinned all over his bedroom wall. He can be quiet and lax most of the time, and wants to get away from the world and just paint.

Hey caleb interesting character um..bad news though dude it isn't good enough to give ya two pokemon starters so could you pick one or if you want I could pick for ya? My opinion is that "Smeargle" would be a better partner for your character and then you can go captrue a ditto what ya think? I think yes so....
