Donovon walked over to his Trapinch picked it up and gave it a big hug as he softly said," Good job buddy you were absolutely incredible out there".
His attention then turned to his opponent as Donovon looked into his opponents eyes he said calmly and quite harshly, " From the moment that our battle begun I knew that my victory would be the outcome, you and I are not rivals.....but the next time we meet I won't go easy. What else would you expect from a future member of the Elite Four?". Donovon took his reward money and walked away slowly not looking back at his fallen opponent he headed off to become the best trainer he knew how to be.

::As the Machoke stood there waiting for the attack to come its way for it to either dodge or counter with something of its own. Seeing that the trapinch was racing forward towards the greenish pokemon it thought that the little guy was thinking of using a physical attack that was until it was fairly close to the opponent and it unleashed raw power that was within the small pokemon. It impowered him draining the energy as the attack hit him close blank taking at least 35 damage points leaving it with only a single point left it was at its weakest state ever there wasn't much point of continuing.

However the Machoke tried its best as it tried to do another karate chop, but didn't have enough power or energy or even enough stamina left within itself as still it tried to do something of a defense, but wasn't even able to do taht effectively as it finally fell to the ground it had fainted from lack of energy which made the trapinch thevictor of this battle. The other trainer returned his pokemon back "That was a great battle Garoke as he pockets it and looks at you, "that was a good battle here take this you might not be so lucky next time however!" As he handed you $75 to add to your $3000 which you had started with.::

Your Trapinch gained 2 levels for defeating a upper-level evolved pokemon!

With an angry expression across his face Donovan ordered Trapinch to not give up. Donovon was looking straight at the bigger pokemon scanning it for any weaknesses, he soon came to realize that the only way to win now was to use Trapinchs raw power. Donovon then said," Trapinch charge at Machoke with full force right now". Trapinch began to rush its opponent with all of the speed it had to give. Donovon then ordered," Trapinch when you get close enough use Secret Power with everything you've got"!.

::As the Machoke awaited for the attack to find a way to counter it later the Protect was unleashed, but it was only able to protect it from the next attack as it decided to use a defensive maneuver it used Focus Power to up its strength and attack for its next for even though anything offensive would've been blocked for that turn as it got ready for the next one.

The Trapinch now aided itself with the sand around it and came towards its opponent with it using Sand Tomb to squish more energy out of its opponent successfully quashing it with the sand it was able to get at least eight hit points out of it as the green monster started to get a little winded it decided to use an offensive attack this time hoping that the protect wasn't still in play as it used Fire Punch once again making its fist white hot it went for the kill and struck going through the weakened protect that was almost out of energy and got six hit points out of the trapinch, but it had dodged a bullet for it didn't get the status ailment of being burned all because of that lucky protect still there.::

Trapinch let out a low grunt as the Katate Chop connected and Donovon looked almost surprised to see Trapinch take so much damage. Realizing that his foes pokemon and Trapinch were very close together from the two physical attacks Donovon again flashed an evil grin, as he demanded, "Trapinch use Protect as big as you can and trap Machoke in it with you and once you've got em fill the Protect up with a Sand Tomb attack!". Trapinch did as directed creating the largest Protect it possibly could and attempted to trap his larger foe and unleash his powerful new combo.

::"Machoke take the attack!" the trainer had replied to its pokemon for she knew that it would be able to sustain the blow and have enough hit points afterwards to keep on fighting the good fight. As the secret power struck taking at least ten hit points leaving it with well enough left. As the muscular humanoid pokemon feel minutely and quickly picked itself back up from the ground there wasn't any physical or emotional effects to the blow as it got ready to deliver its own a arm primed and ready it came down in a chopping motion with its own sped and power as it connected making the trapinch lose ten hit points itself they where almost equally matched it had just executed a perfect Karate Chop.::

Trapinchs eyes met up with Machokes, and Trapinch showed the larger opponent that he would not back down. Donovons grin soon turned into a scowl as he and Trapinch both entered into battle mode. Donovon then shouted," Trapinch use Secret Power on Machoke now!". Trapinch with a lot of speed and power charged towards the Machoke with all of his might with a faint light glowing around him.

::The Girl laughed in response as she whipped her head to the right and said "Me? Weakling? In your dreams little boy!" as seeing the trapinch she thought that the pokemon agreed yet the trainer didn't, "Besides you might go for a beating yourself!" as she threw her pokeball out as the red and white sphere opened up wide a flash of white light exploded and something erupted out of the pokeball itself. Its skin was green and it was wearing a snazzy belt like one that a fighter would wear and it had muscles even some to spare as it showed it being ready to fight flexing its arms and moving ts trunk slightly forward as it opened its mouth making a battle cry as it went back to its normal stance it was trapinch versus machoke.::

As he approached the girl a large toothy smile flashed across his face he then said,"Look I don't have time for weaklings either stand aside or take a thrashin' like a good little girl."
Trapinch grinned as well but unlike his trainer Trapinch was ready to battle. Trapinch stood in front of Donovon and growled. Donovon looked and saw intensity in his partners spirit, and said in an almost evil voice,"Okay let's battle".

::The Professor heard your words like waves of air falling like a fan. As he nodded in acceptance "I am glad that you already have a national pokedex I await to see your information to aide in my research!" He said as he waved goodbye back to them and they went on their way towards the beginning of the journey and the end of Pallet Town. Opening the door you feel the warm air come into the cool laboratory as you and Trapinch leave on foot and go down the concrete stairs and throughthe gate heading towards route one.

Taking each step in stride and Trapinch following your coat tails you go down the beated trail towards the wild open fields that is until you get towards the exit of Pallet town a certain person awaits for you to try and pass this trainer for it would be your rival in every single way! A girl in a pink top and a purple knee length skirt and red pumps (shoes) her face was natural for she didn't need any makeup whatsoever her hair a blazing mixture of red with blonde streaks and green emerald eyes she was waiting in baited breath for you to come towards her so she could challenge you to a battle!::

With a big smile Donovon grabbed up the items laid before him. Then he looked at Professor Oak and returned the smile. "Thank you Professor Oak but yes I already have NationalDex". Donovon and Trapinch both smiled at one another and the two said there goodbyes to the Professor then Donovon and Trapinch head toward the door while waving goobye.

::The professor nodded as you had said for he had been over that way when he was Donovon's age and knew of the pokemon on that part of the region and there was sure proof that he came from the Hoenn region for that was where Trapinchs' roamed more wild then here. "Well I bet you had fun and that was great that you had shaved off a day on your voyage and it looks like the two of you aren't sea sick either so that is also a good sign!" He said with his brilliant smile and jet striking blue eyes as they seem to crinkle a smidge when he smiled.

"So you and that little guy have been together ever since you met that is really brilliant to hear especially since you and it seem to have a great bond with each other, I bet when you are to the third or fourth gym you'll be more close then ever before!" As he went to his desk and took out the necessary items for this trainer. As he unlocked it with the famous key and did something else as it popped out and he grabbed five antidotes and five pokeballs and then finally placed those nearest to him, "Now this is an important choice for you what color of Pokedex would you want or do you alreayd have a national pokedex?"::[/b]

Shocked that professor Oak knew where he was from Donovon replied," Ummm, it was a day shorter than excpected and I saw a lot of cool things along the way, it nade me even more eager to become a trainer". Trapinch rubbed against Donovon's leg as if he wanted Donovon to notice him. Donovon rubbed Trapinches big head and laughed and said," If you couldn't tell this is my partner Trapinch me and him have been friends for as long as I remember". Donovon continued," He's my best friend and I wnat nothing more than for me and him to be the best pokemon and trainer ever". He looked dead into the professors eyes when he said these things. Donovon realizing he hadn't properly introduced himself extended his right hand and said," Hi Donovon nic e to meet you sir".

::The two who where new trainer and pokemon went in look for directions which was odd for guys for sometimes they wouldn't go in search for instructions, but still they asked around trying to find the Lab that was there. As he finally caught the attention of one of the natives there who was in good terms with the wise Professor as he gave the new trainer the instructions of where to find Professor Oaks Lab. As you followed the instructions in which the little boy had given you, you finally arrive at the gates of a tall grayish building that had stairs leading up to the door which had an option of opening on its own.

You finally get to the last step as your trustworthy friend stands next to you showing that it was ready as well as his trainer who took a deep breath and took the final steps to the lab as he opened the door air conditioning poured out of it seeing that Trapinch had rushed inside you open it wider for yourself as you enter you find the Professor standing there as if he knew that you where coming to see him. "Well Hello there I see you have come from afar to gain the benefits of this region how was the trip over here from Mauville?" He asked even though you hadn't told him as if someone had sent news to him letting him know that you where on your way.::

Running steadily Donovon an Trapinch looked all around the town of palltet asking people here and ther the lab of professor Oak is. After the two were finally directed In the right direction, then Donovon and Trapinch ran directly to the lab. Standing in front of the lab side by side to his pokemon partner he and Trapinch almost out of breath walked towards the door of the lab. As Donovon opened the door Trapinch rushed infront of him, Donovon opened door wide and saw the professor himself in his white lab coat. Eyes wide Donoon bowed in respect to the man and awaited his wise words.

::As the mighty ship passed through other ports and kept on heading due west and then east finally going south for a little while it finally met with Johto region where some other boarders got on and some got off then started to head south again for a short while finally kept its course due west and that was how it kept on going for the rest of the time they where on board it had been about three days since boarding and only had a couple days left, but it seemed to pick up its pace shaving off a day letting you arrive a day earlier than arrival. You where happy and positive for the fortune that bound for you and your partner Trapinch.

As you ran down the planking to the shore beating all the other passengers to the shore you took in the smells of the Kanto region there was a bit of the sea air on this end, but only because they where right by it. Soon as you would travel farther the smell would go away and you would find the true smells of Kanto. You now where here in Pallet Town where the great Professor and his Lab resided and you where happy to be there as you set a course for the lab to be a certified registered trainer for this region and to ahve your pokedex info updated as well. Walking with purpose you beat the rush that would of been a collision of boarders come down the planking, but it went smoothly and people who where native to this town looked at the ones getting off of the boat thinking that it would be some good money coming their way.::

Donovon could see pallet town on the horizon he smiled and gestured for Trapinch to look as well. A slight smile could be seen through Trapinchs eternal poker face. Donoon took a deep breath and yelled," Here We Come Kanto!". The ship came closer and closer to shore along the way he had seen many different pokemon and trainers, but no of that mattered right now,because the ship had now reached the shore. As the ship touched the shore Donovon was the first person off of it him and Trapinch imidiately headed for the next stop of their journey.

::As you woke up seeing the sun peek its ugly head up from the earth it was time to start the day and to start it out right! As you pick up all the belongings in which you would need for your journey for you where going overseas and who knows if you'd ever see the house every again. Your pokemon wakes up from a beautiful dream that it didn't want to awake from ,but had to because its trainer was awake so it did groggly as it opened its mouth in a big yawn and stretched as much as it could being awake now.

Its head looked at you and agreed that he was ready to head as its owner had a bag which was bulging on its back as well you where endowed from some money that your parents had left for when you'd go out on your own on a pokemon journey. It was the amount of $4,000 in which they had been saving each year for you as well as a note with it which read.

Dear, Son

If you have found this money that means that you are ready to go out into the world and find the truths that would hold true to you. Hopefully you will not make the mistake as we have joining teams of those who wanted to hurt and break dreams of others. Hopefully with this you will be able to start anew and find a better way of living as well you would be able to find those that you are looking for hopefully you will join a team that wants to help and aide those who the others had injured or having broken spirits.

IC: As the golden sun rises Donovon rises as well. He hops straight out of bed an gets ready to begin his journey. After getting dressed in his black, white, and grey attire he slips on his bacpack grabs the the black Pokedex,Pokenav, and Poketch given to him by his father.
With both his parents gone he tells no one good morning except his loyal Trapinch. "Are you ready Trapinch", were the only words spoken in this lonely place and then the two hreaded out the door.
