As Donovon entered the field full of tall grass he searched for a pokemon he had done quite a bit of research on, Nidoran(male). He read while using his pokedex that they come in two different forms male and female, which both had their own individual evolutionary paths. Donovon had also read that Nidoran had two different abilities Poison Point and Rivalry. Donovon really wanted to catch a Nidoran(male) with the Poison Point ability, with this Donovon will be able to use the effects of poison in his battle strategy.

Donovon reaches on his belt an takes out a pokeball that has been spray painted black, and he says," Come on out Trapinch I need your help". From the black painted sphere comes the reddish ant looking pokemon. Trapinch knew the drill he and Donovon immediately started to search the tall grass in search of Nidoran(male).

::The little red ant came out of its pokeball ready to go in search of their next opponent for the Trapinch had been learning much and gaining experience with every single battle that it did. As you and your faithful friend who was your first you go into the tall grass as it was starting to get high noon where the sun would get brighter and the heat would get hotter. Still you would fight against the elements of the open air. Hoping to find your target and gain another faithful partner and friend to aid your team to victory, the tall grass wasn't giving much fruit since you had started your search you walk all over the place finding other kinds of pokemon, but every single time it was the choice to battle or run and you weren't interested in either and so you kept on running to keep your pokemon in good health waiting to use its strength against the Nidoran Male.::

Donovon and Trapinch began to get tired of running around aimlessly looking for the ever so elusive Nidoran(male). So from his belt he picked his newest pokemon and released it into the air and said," Gligar fly around and see if you can find a Nidoran(male) from the sky and use your Screech to signal us when you do okay buddy?". Gligar nodded and grinned as it took of to help in the search for Nidoran(male).

Donovon and Trapinch continued their search on foot rushing through patches of tall grass looking only for Nidoran(male). The two continued this for an unknown amount of time still looking and listening, looking for Nidoran(male) and listening for Gligar to Screech if a Nidoran(male) was found. Donovon knew that which ever of the two pokemon found Nidoran that would be the one he would use to battle this hard to find pokemon.

::As the gligar hears your commands it goes in look for the wild male Nidoran taking to the skies gliding in search of this pokemon as you and trapinch both keep on the search on the ground making sure no rock was unturned nor brush unsearched. Looking over and around finally you hear a screech come over on the wind as you hear and then see Gligar not far from you for it had screeched for some odd reason as you rush towards the area in which your pokemon had found a purple pokemon eating, grazing in a spot in which you had searched before letting out the gliding pokemon.::

Donovon saw the small pokemon and grinned, he returned Trapinch to its pokeball and then looked towards Gligar and said," Gligar use Metal Claw before has a chance to react." Gligar began to dive from the sky towards pokemon, claws tipped with a white glow. He began to hurdle in closer and closer gaining speed and power behind his claw aiming dead for the Nidoran(male).
