Mysterious Mt. Moon!

OOC: This is the 2nd time I did this post, I accidentally pressed a Backspace button (I clicked outside of the typing space) on the computer and it lost all the words that I typed on this page- and it was a gloriously long page at that- So I shorted it than the original. I'm kind of mad (X-P)

He awoke and took a free map from a bulletin board there, and got a bite to eat at the Pokemon Center and left. He searched a section that would direct him to Mt. Moon. When he did, it read: "Exit Pewter to the East and follow a trail to Mt. Moon. There is a small Pokemon Center outpost there before you get to Mt. Moon." He stuffed the map into his pocket and exited Pewter to the east, just like the map said. He reached the trail and started following it. Now would be a good time to catch a Flying-type, he thought. He walked and searched for a Flying-type Pokemon.

::You go trotting down the trail and just as you are about to get in the same area where the mouth of the cave a trainer jumped out at you and demanded that you battle with him. Although at the same time a spearow isn't very far from exactly where you were. As the ninja awaits for your decision to battle him...::

OOC: I hate it when that happens when you loose your hard earned work!

OOC: hehe, exactly. (now I copy and paste every five words)

IC: "Umm, there's a Pokemon that I need to catch..." Caleb said nervously. "But let's make it quick." "You can send yours out first." Caleb said.

::The ninja nodded as he threw with such speed a pokeball that revealed a machop that looked strong and healthy and ready for anything as the masked figure and the machop await to see what would happen next. For they wanted to try and savor yet get this over quick themselves.::

"Alrighty, then." Caleb said. He picked Flora's Pokeball from his belt and threw it into the air. A red beam revealed a Sunflora, and she was ready to fight. "Flora, start off the battle with Growth to power up your Special attack! Then use your Growth power and use Razor Leaf at the Machop!"

::The sunflora was able to use growht, but a little bit afterwarsds almost instantously the machop had executed a Low Kick attack as its strong muscular leg connected with the sunflora injuring it. Although he was cut from behind for the sunflora out of frustration did a Razor Leaf attack as teh sharpened leaves came arund like boomerangs and cut the little guy making him lose some energy as it countered with a Karate chop as the strong arm went down towards the sunflora as it was just about to connect....::

"Quick Flora, use a Razor Leaf to knock it away!" Caleb said, and Sunflora used a Razor Leaf before a moment of impact straight at the Machop. The leafs blocked most of the Karate Chop power, but not much. Sunflora was injured, but had more strength to go on. And she might need some more if Machop uses more powerful Fighting-type moves, he thought. "Flora, use Absorb!" Caleb said.

::The Machop tried to resist the absorbtion of its energy, but had no control over it as his energy was transferred to the sunflora. It didn't much like that so he answered with a secret weapon as it rolled and his legs flailing in kicks his attack was called "Rolling Kick" as he came closer he had hit at least four times injuring the sunflora of the energy it had just taken from him. For that was his answer as he rolled back beside his trainer awaiting to see if Sunflora would answer with the same action...::

"Lets try a different attack! Flora, use Leech Life!" Caleb said. Sunflora did as she was told, and sent a deadly Leech at the Machop.

::This attack was unescapable, but he tried his best it didn't do any good for life was sapped out of him and once again transferred fver to the flora again. Again not good for he didn't like that so it used Karate chop again as he raised his arm and came down hard as at the same time leaping in the air so when his arm came down so would his feet. As he came closer to the sunflora he landed with a chop as it hit the flora making it lose some life, but he was still being sapped of life making him weaker.::

"Good job Flora, now use Absorb to take more health!" Caleb said. He gave a thumbs up to Flora to signal her that she was doing great.

::The absorb once again is succesful as it takes yet another bit of life from the machop as it began to become weakened by being drained by the flora's attacks. but it kept it up by using anotehr Karate chop as he jumped up into the air and landed wth his arm striking the flora.::

The attack connected with Sunflora, which spun it around. As it whirled around, the Machop came into sight and she blew Razor Leafs at it.

::The razor sharp leaves brushed against the warriors skin as it was cut by them and even more energy was drained as it became weaker by the second it executed another Low Kick which he went low to kick up high and connect with the sunflora once more...::

The attack hit Sunflora, and then she countered with an Absorb.

::The absorb was the straw that broke the machops back as it fainted from lack of energy and Sunflora gained a level. As the ninja rcalled his pokemon back and gave you what you had won which was $100. You continue onward as the spearow was still in the vacinity of where you were as it ses you and the pokemon which was still out and the ninja dude had already disappeared and so it swarmed you and the sunflora aiming to attack you and if so the pokemon as well...::

Caleb pulled out his Pokedex and pointed it at the Spearow: SPEAROW, a FLYING-type POKEMON. It is very protective of its territory, it flaps its short wings busily to dart around at high speed. A deadly move to avoid is FURY ATTACK." He closed it and recalled Sunflora, because he knew the battle would be harder. "Go Squirt!" Caleb said as he threw the Pokeball into the air. Squirt appeared and used a Bubble without even being told. He inhaled air and unleashed bubbles at the Spearow.

::The spearow is hit by the Bubble as it is hit and puffeted backwards it picks itself up and used Peck as it came closer to the squirtle and used its sharp beak pecking at the squirtle.::

Squirt is hurt by a series of Pecks, but turns it's back around to guard with it's hard shell. "That should damage it's attack a bit. Now don't use a powerful Bubble, because I want to capture this one!" Caleb said.

::The Squirtle used a buble attack as it drew air with its cavernous mouth and let out bubles ranging in sizes. They hit the spearow as it tried to dodge them. Even though getting attacked as it was weakenening and losing strength it used Fury Attack as it swarmed down upon the squirtle once more as rained upon him with anger and fury.::

Squirt used Withdraw to build up his defense and he was hit by the Fury Attack's multiple hits. Squirt then ran towards the Spearow for a Tackle.

::You get enough defense to last you for awhile while at the same time losing energy cause of the multiple attacks. Afterwards getting hit by the tackle which didn't do much of an effect for it was a ground attack. It replied with yet another peck attack as it used its beak as a sword once again against the tiny squirtle.::

OOC: Tackle is a Normal type move, but if you meant the attack was on the ground...

IC: Squirt was pecked by the Spearow, then countered with a medium powered Bubble attack, not too weak and not to strong.

::The spearow seemed weak, but this one was a fighter and even though it was low on energy it would try its best. As the bubbles pelt him making it lose more energy as now feeling like it is bordering fainting and not fainting it springs forward with its sharp golden beak and brown feathers to do yet another Peck attack as it came close flapping its wings to come close enough. Its talons clamped closely to its body as to help him fly better it zooms forward pecking at whatever it could get at.::

Caleb saw that it was weaker. He was certain a Pokeball would catch it now. He pulled one out from his bag and threw it at the Spearow hoping to catch it. The Pokemon was pulled inside the ball and started rocking back and forth. Caleb and Squirtle watched it anxiously to see if it would catch it.

::The pokeball lands on the spearow and a red beam sucks it inside as it considers of becoming a part of your pokemon team. AS you and Squirtle wait to see what the results would be as it takes a while, but finally a resounding click sounding that the Spearow has been caught.

Spearow Lv. 13 Female and knows Peck, Leer, and Fury Attack.::

"Woohoo!" Caleb shouted as he ran over and picked up the Pokeball. "I'm going to nickname you Skyfly." Caleb said. "I like that." He could see Mt. Moon off in the distance and resumed his journey.

OOC: Nice!

IC:
::You add the spearow to your belt that holds the others pokeballs as you continue on your way to Mt. Moon traveling the route to its opening bumping into some stray pokemon. For instance a Ekans in the field of the route jumps out at you attacking!::

OOC: you mean the name?

IC: "Another one?" Caleb said in disbelief. "Go Flora!" he said as he threw the red and white sphere into the air. Sunflora came out and Caleb commanded it to use Razor Leaf!

ooc: No! you caught the spearow and now your continuing on your journey silly!

OOC: ooops! sorry! I didn't read it quite right... So an Ekans didn't appear?

IC: Caleb could see the mountain in the distance. It wasn't very far. He checked his map to see if he was on the right track, then started walking again.

oc: oh yeah the ekans! oops oh well? *shrugs*

IC;
::You keep on walking feeling secure and welcome to the open road feelingas if there wasn't anything left in the world at that very moment. That was until a trainer called out and took him out of his revery "Hey You!" He called making yourself feel a little taken aback for he had spooked you. "Let's Battle!" He said as if he knew that there was no turning down his offer.::

OOC: I'm confused.

IC: "Okay." Caleb said as he took him up on the offer. He chose Flora and threw the Pokeball into the air. He waited for the other trainer...

::The other trainer finally saw that the other had thrown out a grass pokemon so he picked his poison and threw out his pokemon as a Vulpix popped out of its innerds. As the vulpix loked at the flora with eyes of excitement as it was ready to battle and find itself true against this plant that would wilt underneath her fiery wrath.::

Caleb saw the Fire Pokemon and gulped. The Sunflora was a Grass-type Pokemon which was weak to Fire-type. "Flora, start off the battle with a Growth move to build up your defense. You'll need it. Then use Leech Life!" he shouted. This would be interesting...

::As the sunflora used Growth the vulpix awaited it and used Confuse Ray to make it sorta confused at teh time. Which hit, but not enough to confuse it as the energy was sucked out of it leaving it a little weak. It used Leer to try and lure the vulpix into a false sense of security as it did and making it feel cocky as it used Ember which was hot as it hit the sunflora.::

He could see the fire engulf the Sunflora, and she tried to shake it off. "Try to recover, then use Leech Life!" Caleb said.

::The sunflora had gotten back up now escaped from the embers. It launched an attack which hit taking away some of its energy which was transerred over to the sunflora who had just gotten attacked. Now better, but the leech life would still suck life out of the vulpix. It countered with yet another Confuse Ray as it came close to hitting the sunflora...::

Sunflora was hit by the Confuse Ray, when she came close to dodging it. "Uh-oh." Caleb said, muttering it under his breath. "Try to use Absorb!" Caleb shouted hoping that she wouldn't be too confused.

::The flora was able to struggle hard enough to get the attack off as it drained the vulpix of some of its energy at the same time the leech life got more as all was transferred over to the sunflora and now the vulpix was beginning to get weak as it used Ember once again as the fire crept toward the sunflora.::

Sunflora was scorched by the red hot burning embers, just as Caleb returned the Sunflora back to her Pokeball. "Come on back, you did good!" Caleb said. He reached for Skyfly's Pokeball and threw it into the air. "Skyfly, use a Peck attack!" Caleb shouted.

::Both of your opponents where surprised as they saw the exchange momentarily after the scorch as they saw the brown and red spearow arise from the pokeball that was thrown outwards. As it flew forward to peck at the tiny vulpix, but it acted fast and used Confuse Ray hoping that it would effect the bird even though he was flying right into the attack.::

Skyfly saw the attack coming, and barely missed it by an inch. He spiraled, then dove into the ground. Shaken, Skyfly got up and used a Fury Attack at the Vulpix.

::As the fury attack was coming forward with its full power of which would hit the vulpic, but how many and would it be avoidable? Well as itgoes forth to attack the vulpix dodges it as the spearow fies past the vulpix and sends an Ember attack after it as the embers attack the spearow burning into the air making the oxygen cary it into the sky..::

"Come on Skyfly, counter with another Fury Attack!!" Caleb shouted. Skyfly nodded and swooped down trying to rid the embers, and attacked the Vulpix again.

::As the spearow plumeted down into the embers as he was being scorched by them he was able to yet get the attack off and injure the Vulpix as it was damaged by the reoccuring blows as its beak and talons raked over its redish fur. Finally it had succeded in doing an attack that would punish it as the vulpix answered with another Confuse Ray as it went into the sky hitting the one named Skyfly!::

The Confuse Ray hit Skyfly, and sent it spinning to the ground. It got up looking around not knowing what to do. "Skyfly, can you fight any more? Try to use one more Peck attack!" Caleb shouted at the bird.

::As the vulpix watched the bird go flying backwards in a spin to the earthy ground it was grateful for its determination, but would the opponent be able to get off another attack? It did as the bird rose and flew forward its hard sharp beak jabbing at the vulpix it had used peck yet again as this time it made the vulpix super tired as it finally slunk to the ground fainted from the battle. As the trainer returned to pokemon and was disappointed, but grateful for the battle as he congratulated you and gave you $50 for winning as Spearow and Sunflora both gained a level each.::

"That was great, you and your Vulpix definitely worked hard there." Caleb said, congratulating him also, even though he lost. He pocketed the money and took out the map and pinpointed his location. He pointed in his direction, folded the map and stuffed it in his bag, and walked off again. He could see the Pokemon Center in the distance.

OCC: should I continue in Pokemon center, or do you have another thing in store for me before I begin a new one?

OOC: Well if you remember from the game before you get into the cave itselfthere is a pokecenter there so that is where I'm trying to get yato at the moment okay?

::You keep on walking trying to avoid pokemon and stares from other trainers which you are almost succesful until you jump on the unsuspecting eyes of a very young rattata who had been trying to avoid the venomous stare of the ekans that was hunting it.::
