To Pewter City

"This is so great!" Tsukiko said to herself, walking out of the town. "I can't believe I finally get to leave. I wonder how soon I'll encounter another pokemon," She continued, not paying attention where she was going.

::You travel not far enough when you are surprised as a Pidgey swoops into your view and ses you as it dives in great speed towards you for it saw that you where a trainer and didn't like that so it was going to test your skills as a pokemon trainer and how strong your pokemon is...::

Tsukiko's hand flew to her belt and grabbed her pokeball, saying, "Charmander, I choose you." The charmander popped out with a questioning, 'Char?" Pointing at the fast approaching pidgy, Tsukiko said, "Charmander, use scratch on that pidgy!"

::As the bird was just about to land on the charmander he flung himself into action as one of its short arms and sharp claws dug into the pidgey as it hit him, but the attack was most effective on the pidgey as it flew away. It landed not to far away from the other pokemon as it used tackle flying forward to attack the charmander once again.::

"Charmander, when the pidgy gets close enough use bite," Tsukiko said, standing a few feet away from the fight.
The Charmander held her ground until the last second and then delivered a bite before rolling out of the pidgy's path

::The tiny brown bird flew straight and at the last second saw the fiery pokemon open its jaws as it bit the pidgey and at the same time was able to dodge the attack that would of hit. It wasn't accustomed to someone having its wing as it used a gust to billow the pokemon and hopefully attack it as well which it did as energy was drained out of her.::

"Char," the charmander growled. "Shake it off girl. Use scratch and get away as fast as you can," Tsukiko said, carefully studying the pidgy's exhaustion level

::She was able to shake off the attack and caught the bird off guard as its arm swiped at its small body as it became hurt from the attack. It countered with a gust as it flapped its wings creating a gailwind taht was aimed right for the charmander.::

"It's starting to look tired, Charmander. Get in close and nail it with a bite. If I'm correct, which i might not be, that should make it catchable," Tsukiko said, gears whirling inside her head. The Charmander nodded and charged, hoping her trainer was correct. She was begining to exhaust herself. As soon as she was close enough Charmander latched herself to the pidgy's left wing and shook her head side to side

::Now that one of its wings was already hurt from the opponent tearing into one of its wings it was in a straight flight to it and couldn't evolve its plan as it came closer and closer seeing that the charmander was getting ready to do something itself. The jaws parted showing a row of sharp teeth and closed on the other wing that was still whole as they closed upon the attack had still effected the charmander, but now it had a hold of its wing as it was shook from side to side and then finlly flung to the side on the road. Now exhaused it was weak against this pokemon finally as he looked into the trainer and then the charmander's eyes filled with the sight of the battle itself.::

I think it's time Tsukiko though to herself, reaching for a ball. She quickly activated and flung it. Exhausted, Charmander sat down and yawned, only somewhat interested in the capture. After all, she did her job of fighting the pokemon. Tsukiko stared at the ball, nerves on end and waited for the distinct click she knew mean the pokemon was captured.

::Both of you wait in silent patience as the pokeball shifted and the red light blinked making it click softly as it kept on shifting around. It seems like an eternity until you finally hear the clicking stop and the red light was dowsed out as it stood immobile the pidgey had been caught. Pidgey Lv. 5 male and knows gust and tackle. As Charmander looked over the silent immobile pokeball that laid on the grassy ground.::

"We did it!" Tsukiko cheered running over to grab the pokeball. She placed it on her belt then went over to the charmander. "Charmander, you did a great job, you deserve a long rest," she said calling the flaming lizard back to it's pokeball

::Inside both pokeballs both pokemon are resting peacefully while you continue your journey to becoming a great pokemon trainer.::

Tsukiko qickly continued on her way, half hoping the sun would set before to much longer. She just got out of town and wasn't really willing to stay her first night out in another town. "I know I probably should take you two to the pokemon center, but I really don't want to go back to a city yet. Not wheen there's is so much I haven't seen out here yet," She said, speaking to her pokemon. "I promise, tomorrow morning for sure," She finished, looking around for a comfortable place to rest. She chose a shaded spot under a large tree, colse to pool of water. "Charmander, Pidgey, come out," Tsukiko said, activating the pokeballs. Charmander popped out first, stretching and yawning. Pidgey came second, hopping over to his new trainer and perching on her shoulder. "I've decided, o offense, that your names are to long. So, I'm giving you both nicknames. Charmander, I'll call you Flare, if you don't mind," Tsukiko said. The fiery pokemon consented. "And Pidgey, I'll call you Gust," Tsukiko told him. The pidgey also agreed with the name. "Now all that's left to do is wait for night to fall. Go ahead and play around, you both deserve it," Tsukiko finished, leaning, back against the tree to watch her newly found friends frolick

::Pidgey who was grateful for having new friends as well as Tsukiko while it hovered around finding a branch that looked not high yet not low as it perched itself on it and chirped happily. While down on the ground the charmander spots the lovely grass and the clear blue pool of water that is close at hand as it watches the areas for rogue pokemon making sure that it did its job as you are content with your back leaned on the strong tree with its powerful roots dug deep into the ground.::

Feeling at home in the wilderness, Tsukiko started to snoze. Around her, her pokemon continued their play, waiting for whatever their trainer was waiting for. Before to lonf Gust flew down to perch on Tsukiko's shoulder, napping as well. Only Flare remained awake, watching for any sign of danger

::Thankfully as the both of you rested there wasn't much danger around that is until a wild nidoran male saw the three of you and was wondering if not to go after you or not as it looked at you and saw that two out of the three where sleeping it decided not to pry for it wouldn't like it if someone was to wake it from a pleasant slumber as well as it passed on silently paying no attention to the cautious watching charmander that kept watch over the two slumberers.::

Hours passed with no movement from anyone. Finally, as night began to fall the charmander woke her trainer. "Night time at last," Tsukiko said, stretching her limbs. "Alright then. Flare and gust you go look for some firewood as I set up a campsite." she ordered her pokemon. As they left she pulled a small tent from her backpack and began setting it up. When they returned they all worked together to build a teepee shaped stack of wood. "Would you mind lighting it with your tail?" Tsukiko asked Flare. "Char, Charmander," she replied, doing just that. For a while Tsukiko, Flare, and Gust sat around the campfire. After an hour had passed Tsukiko yawn and said, "Alright, kids, time for bed. We've got an early rise tomorrow." She recalled her pokemon, took a bucket to the pond, returned to douse the flames, and then curled up in her tent to pass the rest of the night away

::Flare and Gust both obey and go gather the wood which they need for the fire as they get it ready charmander however not ready to produce a flame still let Tsukiko light the fire as its golden flames spread over the dry wood the sounds of the night start flowing over the land as you hear all of the nocturnal pokemon and nightly sounds start to spring alive. Not far from where you are ther is a hoothoot that is hooting into the night actually in the tree right above you as it looks down on you and sees you and the two pokemon as it decides to pay a visit which isn' good for your two new friends...::

ic: "Uhoh guys, this doesn't look to good. Flare, quick, use scratch. Gust, use gust to try to get it away from us." Tsukiko said, worried about her pokemons' health

::As the hoothoot saw that you weren't a problem and so before any of your pokemon could even blow off a shot at the hoothoot it flew overhead passing up the opportunity of defeating two pokemon for it was being wise and flying away to live another day. As you all start to head off to a wonderful land of slep..

Flare: zzzzz.....Snore.....zzzzzz..... Snore..
Gust: zzzzz....zzzz.....zzz.....snore...::

Early the next morning Tsukiko awoke and began packing. As soon as everything was secure she continued on to the city. "I really hope I don't run into any more pokemon." She said, watching as the sun rose steadily higher

::You had awoken so early that the pokemon of the night were falling asleep and not many of the pokemon in the day where even awake yet. The only ones that were awake though where the ones who are early risers and that isn't many. So you walk with the silence of not meeting many pokemon that is until you see a trainer who had awoken as early as you had and saw you as he said "Hey wanna battle?" As he pleaded with you for he wanted to level his pokemon as bad as you needed to..::

"I'd love to!" Tsukiko said, before she remembered the condition her pokemon were in. "But I can't right now. My pokemon aren't in a fighting condition at this time, I need to get them to the pokemon center. You're welcome to come with me if you like, I'd be willing to battle after I heal my pokemon, but right now I'd have to decline your offer" she said, regret filling her voice

::"Alright then I'll let you pass for now, but next time I won't be so nice!" As the trainer let her by to go get her pokemon healed.::

"Thank you," Tsukiko said, rushing away. Withen an hour or so the city came into view and Tsukiko slowed down. Panting, she continued to walk, hoping she'd be there soon

::As you finally get into the small city of Viridian you go to heal your pokemon to be ready to go back and battle that trainer.::

Tsukiko quickly retraced her steps, hoping that trainer was still there. My first real battle. she thought, somewhat giddy I hope Flare and Gust are ready for this

::You get into the area where you had seen the trainer before and he sees you seeking you out, "I see you've come back for our battle?" He said as he looks you over hoping that your pokemon are ready for this battle and would be able to keep up wih his very own...::

"Yes, I have." Tsukiko replied, nervously fidling with her pokeballs and waiting for the other trainer's answer

::The trainer saw that you had seemed a little nervous as if this was your very first batle with another trainer as he picked out on of her own pokemon throwing it out and a venonat had appeared out of its depths. Now it was time to see what the other girl had in store for her as she waited on pins and needles waiting to see if this trainer would be a battle worth remembering or if it would be just another battle with a new trainer...::

ic:"Flare, battle time," Tsukiko said releasing the pokeball. Flare popped out with a yawn. Realishing she was in an actual official battle Flare put herself into a defensive stance waiting for the first attack to be issued or the first command given, which ever came first. "Flare, charge and use scratch," Tsukiko ordered. Flare raced forward and swung her small fist around, sharp claws digging into the hide of the opposing pokemon.

::As the claws dug into the purple fur the venonat was hurt as it lost its energy from the attack taht struck it blindly. It unleashed a powder taht had a poisonous smell to it it had used on of its attacks in an instant as a defense mechanism as the poison powder was unleashed into the air right at the tiny charmander as the air was rank with the smell of something like burning rubber or at least something close to it filled the air would the charmander be immune from the poison or will it go through its air passages?::

"Flare, hold your breath and use scratch on it again, then get away before it can counterattack," Tsukiko commanded, crossing her fingers and hoping it would work. Flare did what she was told, racking her claws across the purple fur before leaping away from the poisonous cloud surrounding it.

::As the reptile was able to close its mouth in time to protect itself from the poisonous vapors it clawed into the air as it tried to connect with the venonat, but this time wasn't able to as it countered with Tackle as it rushed forward to attack as it did so rushing in for to tackle the opponent which it was able to do as ihe reptile was flung back and was relinquished of some of its energy as it was drained by the hit...::

Flare quickly climbed to her feet and shook off the attack. Without waiting for a command, she raced forwared again and attempted to sink her small, but sharp fangs into the venonat
