Outskirts of Pewter City

john and Flame both treked away from the pokecenter with renewed spirits and strength. They where just entering the very edge of the city and they didn't know that they had waited there for so long and it was getting somewhat dark. "Well we better set up camp buddy" As he pulled out the things they neededin order to make camp. He thought that since it was there last night before going to the training facility so they can be prepared for Brock and his rock pokemon. He pulled out Sea for she could help with the preperations of the camp and get some last minute training done for she would be possibly the only one to KO the rock pokemon that they'd be facing.

"Okay Sea Come on out." He said as Sea appeared from her pokeball full of enrgy. "Okay Sea we're gonna get some last minute training are you ready?"

Sea: "Bring it on Buster Brown" She said with a confident gesture.

"Okay aim a water gun in that pot make i fall over" as he pointed to the pot that was t obe filled of water to clean dishes and to put out the fire later. She aimed with precison and hit it a little high just barely missing it. "That's alright girl try again" and she did this time being a little careless shot to short. Finally the third time she hit dead on and the pot went on its side spilling the water over the ground.

"Alright now since you see we don't have any water could you aim a water gun and fill it up again please?" He said with a pleasent way in his voice. She did this time filling it so full that it went over which wasn't to bad for it probably needed to be watered in that spot. "Good now i guess we'll have to et dinner started you did good though." He lets her stay out just in case he thought of something else to train her with. For the moment Flame and Sea both watched as John made a good meal for himself and some little tidbits fro for the two.

The meal was good and there was enough left ovr for the othes or for another night. They get the amp cleaned u for the night. Again Sea doing her part and doing some target practice so to speak and Flame kept on relenishing the fire by either packing wood or put more fire to the fire itself. They headed for rest for the night and Sea made a little bed in the bucket using the water as Flame just laid himself in front of he fire. As for John he got into his sleeping bag.

They sleep peacefully with minor snores from each mostly from the guys than Sea, but she does her fair share as well. Actually if you looked into the bucket you'd see little bubbles rising to the surface of the bucket.
They dream of something that they can't remember, but Sea does say something about the three of them meeting a beautiful girl. Flame stokes up the fire by breathing a brilliant flame that ignites the wood from the later night. He leaves to colect other wood for kindling while John and Sea both get the meal of last night ready for breakfast. Flame returns in a hurry with some wood. "Hey Mat where's the Fire?" John says and then laughs at his own joke, but suddenly a boy about his size appears with blonde hair and green eyes and a pokemon of his own. "Hello my name is Brian are you a pokemon trainer?"
"Why yes i am why?" as he looks at Flame as if a what did you do this time sort of look.
"Okay then i challenge you to a duel" as he pulls out apokeball which of course witholds a pokemon of his own.

OOC: Arceus wanna do a battle?

The boy summons his own Pidgeot and you sent Flame forward. "Its been awhile since I've had a good fight. Pidgeot! Use Arial Ace!"

OOC: Thought you'd pick something that was the same as Flame ya know first thing. Oh well

"Okay Flame let's win this one. No pressure okay?" John said as he sent out his loyal friend for his first battle against another trainer. Hoping to do his best. He waited to see what the bird pokemon would do and then he'd counter it. And so he waited in patience...

The bird pokemon charges forward at Flame, Thankfully Flame jumps over the attack, staying in air watching as the pokemon turn around and attack again.

Flame sees the attack come back on him and unleashes a flamethrower which nice and hot. Thinking it hd ot of hit cause it was a direct hit. John looked in surprise at the scene and was wondering the same thing that Flame was wondering was if it had done a lot of damage or not. Of course the Pidgeot being a higher level than Flame did get hurt enough to win, but it did wipe out a thrid of its HP for it was a hot one and fire and air mix very well.

The Pidgeot is blasted back by the attack but quickly lands onto the ground then charges back at flame with a quick attack. Flame sees the attack and attacks with rage and begins slashing at the pokemon with rapid paces.

The pidgeot gets annoyed at this onslaught and counters with Gust which doesn't do much to Flame and it only slows him down. His vicious rage became stronger and stronger as the battle went on. It looks like Flame had won this one already, but he didn't want to cocky on his first ever battle.

OOC: Seems only fair since u did what Flame was gonna do mate.

OCC: Yeah sorry about that couldn't help myself. You where going to win anyway.

Flame weels out a last attack and KO's the Pidgeot. Flame grows a level. The pokemon trainer then sends out his own charmander.

Now they are matched, but seeing that it'd be the same pokemon and that nothing woul happen to fast. John called to Flame "Come Back you deserva a rest", but Flame was disobeying he wanted to show that even though it was another Charmander that he would win this one as well. So round two starts.

Flame starts in on the other by using Quick Attack seeing how fast the other one was. if it was younger than it'd be easily taken aback by this attack. If not then it'd just bruise the charmander. This one was nicknamed "Blaze" and he was called "Red" and it was a female and so Flame was a little interested, but he didn't even think of going easy cause it was a she. He treated this one as if it was just another pokemon. Althoug he was having a little trouble cause the whiles of the female was getting to him.

The female jumped the side avoiding the attack and counters with a flamethrower. The female to was interrested in this new opponet, and was testing to see how good he was.

Flame licked at the fire that was thrown at him. He loved the feel of its hot yellow adn white flames. He sustains some injury of course, but still none the less he enjoyed the flame. He uses Rage to start an onslaught on the opponent hoping that they'd get to know one another by there attacks. he got in close and saw the brilliant blue colbalt eyes of the femal and she saw the burning orange color of his own eyes. He started clawing and attacking with such animosity and anger for he wanted to see who would prevail from this fight.

OOC: That was nice about having the female be interested in Flame!:

The female used her own rage, both of they're attacks being bashed away by another. The female was more then impressed now, this other charmander was strong she could feel it. So she to attacked faster, wantng to see who was best.

OCC: XD no problem.

"Stop going easy on her Flame! Come on do our darndest!" Johnny yelled to flame whic rowled Flame p cause it was nice to get directions and all, but being told to up hi game when he is ruly doing his best. Sitllhe ups his game cause he wanted to show the Female all that he had and blazen her with the love of the fight and hunt. He used a full fledged attack of Rage followed almost directly with flamethrower. Of course the flames would just flow over her for she loved the heat, but she was also caught up in the realization of the fight. The blaze hit her with force. She countered with Rage and Quick Attack which cleary is logical cause the fire would just boounce off of him. So she logically went for ground attacks which would do some damage. Although tey where matched Flame was putting all of his effort and so was she. They did blows after blows, hit after hit. The trainers giving advice and that. The battle seemed to go on for awhile. There was minimal change in the attacks for they culd onl know four and they both knew some of the same movess and used them.

OOC: sorry for it being a little long. I got caught up in the magic of it all.

The attacks continue, on after another. Both not letting in, but both of them where begining to feel the drain of they're attacks. The female felt herself slow down. She was almost out of energy. This charmander was strong. Really strong. She could feel it. She had to finish this fight once and for all. The female put all of the energy she had left into a strong quick attack. Hoping it would hit its mark.

OCC: XD its alright I got caught up in it to.

He saw the othr Charmander rushing toward him at full speed and so just to paybac the favor he repeated hers and mustered up the sam amount of speed and went rushing towards her. They where to collide in the middle. Whoevever would survive would have to wait til the dust settled and the scene showed itself to them.

John and Brian waited with anticiaption waiting and wondering who would win and if they did what would transpire afterwards. There nerves where tense and on the edge. For they both loved there Charmanders. If one or he other would be KO'd hoever would be proud of the fight they had pu out.

The dust clears and Flame stands alright, while the other opponet was passed out. Flame grows 2 levels.

Johnny was excited that Flame had won his first official battle against another trainer. However Flame was disappointed cause he thought the other Charmander was strong enough to withstand his blast, but it was over and they had won fair and square. The only thing that was left was to collect his winnings from the trainer which of course was money for that is what you would always win in these cases.

OOC: Can you think of a figure for his winnings as well.

The boy sighs. "You win." He digs into his pocket and hands you 200 dollars. "Sorry, thats all I got, see yah!" The boy runs off leaving you with the money.

He calls for the boy to wait for he had something to tell him. John caught up to him and said "Your pokemon did a good job and I think you'll be a great pokemon master." At that he turns to head towards Pewter City with his newfound friends, new experience, and his first official battle won.
