Zack and Totodile walk to the entrance of the cave hoping to find a Riolu.
Zack: You ready to go Totodile.
Totodile: Totodile(Yes, lets go)
Zack:Lets go
Zack and Totodile walk into the cave

::As you and the water crocodile like pokemon as you walk in the dark halls of the cave not fully knowing what he would be getting into. At least not at this time and place seeing that you didn't really have a light to be able to see in this vast darkness, for there could be pokemon in which you had no intention of meeting. That is until you see a light hoping that it was the exit or the entrance again will you go towards this said light or will you go another way groping in the void?::

::You and your Totodile are completely curious about this light that is shining in the cave not knowing what it was, but still they head towards it. Are you still hoping that it was just a mirage and that it was a hole in the caves' ceiling? Nay you finally get up on it and you see someone sitting at what looks like a campfire. As he looks like an older man who just walks around the cave with no mere reason or agenda. "Well hello you must of seen my campfire?" He says to you knowing exactly what the answer was cuz if you hadn't you wouldn't of come closer to it.

Still in wonder you stand there and your totodile looks at the man wondering if it was friend or foe, "Don't worry little friend for I have a gift for you and your little friend might like my gift as well!" As he waits for you to answer his questions and wondering if you had any of your own for this was a man that in which you have no knowledge of for this was the first time meeting him so now it was a leap of faith will you trust the elderly man or will you deny his gift for you to help you in the darkest hour?::

(You are a man of few words in posts! lol at least it isn't one-lined posts.)

::The older man looks at you and your face in the firelight as he hears that you accept his generous gift that he gives to new trainers. "Well you are a boy of few words, but at least you get right to the point!" As he digs in his pack for the gift in which he had promised you pullikng out a weird gizmo and gives it to you with a smile on his face. "It is a HM which contains the move Flash it'll help you in these caves so you can see better in here for at times it looks like dead of night in here so it'll most definitely help you!" Will you attempt to try to see if Totodile can learn this move or will you hang on to it for awhile until you get a chance to capture another pokemon and let it learn said move?::

Zack and Totodile continue there journey through the dark cave in hopes of capturing a new friend

::As you kept on walking with the new item in your belt and your friend walking beside you. You where once again groping in the dark of the abyss. Not knowing that there was something else in the dark in wait for you. Keep on walking towards this entity that had no idea of your intentions or where you where heading. That was until you where about an inch and a half away from it that was when it finally popped up and said hello sorta speak.

It reared up its head and attacked showing its dark shape it was a dog with silver cufflets on all four legs and a silver collar around its head. Its eyes glared red in the darkness. In seeing it attack you at the last second Totodile came into action defending you from the attack will it end there or will the battle be on?::

Zack: Nice job Totodile, now its time to se what pokemon is attacking us *Zack pulled out his pokedex and lifted it up in the direction of the pokemon*

::The dark shadow which was the houndour moved before the water even hit him using the shadows as its companion for since there was no light to show you where he was really the only thing that gave him away was his eyes and the silver cuffs and collar. Still it used the darkness to shroude himself from attacks. It laid in wait wanting to give its attack weighing its options hoping to know which would be the best option and phase of attack of which it wanted to do. Pausing for dramatic affect finally it had its choice as it struck with speed rushing forward to the crocodile pokemon getting ever so closer to its opponent when it attacked taking some damage from it. Now it was back to your turn and it had seemed that the hellhound had returned into the shadows what will you do know?::

::As it seemed like the entire placewas covered in water as the walls seemed to gleam from being damp. The minor light bounced off the dampened walls making it a little difficult for the dark dog to use the shadows for comfort for there was lesser darkness in that area. It was angry for it had been given away and so he opened up and used "Ember" to heat the place up as it seemed to flow from its mouth towards the opponent it struck not putting much effect into it for it was a water-type still it struck and in doing so it gave away its position as now it was time for the Totodile do return the favor.

As it drew in air and closed its mouth for a quarter of a second it opened back up erupting water from its mouth as it traveled towards the fire pokemon as it had given away its hiding spot it was exposed as the water attack hit him squarely on the nose. Hurting it immensly taking a hard hit dropping its energy and health to about halfway to being knocked out. As now hurting it would still do its best to reign victorious. rushing forward after picking itself up from the dampened floor it came faster and faster to the croc. as it seemed imminite that the attack would strike or will it? Will totodile get hit or will it dodge or will it miss entirely?::

As the attack came towards Totodile, Zack thought of a way to lower the health of the pokemon enough to make it weak enough to catch.
Zack: I got it! Totodile quick us water gun un the floor to make the pokemon slip and then follow up with a water gun dead on to the pokemon
Totodile: toto...........DILE (water shot from totodile's mouth at top speed at the floor)
The pokemon slipped and Totodile followed up with a water gun to the pokemon

::As the water came from the crocodile's mouth it seemed to spew onto the floor making it slippery which in turn made the dark one slip causing more injury. This made it feel a little naked and embarassed for it didn't forsee this at all. Before the water came rushing out of its mouth again it attacked once again with Ember heating up the floor a bit and went straight to the opponent hitting it before it could hit again with another water gun. Sure it struck and it might of singed and hurt a little, but the attack which was waiting for the fire would soon hurt it more than the damage that it had already done!

The totodile of course was hurt a little, but it still had more energy and health to it than the darkened dog as it once again drew in air closing for a mere second and letting the water flow sending it towards the Hound the cold liquid was suspended in mid-air that was until it struck the fire once again it stung worse than the fire attack that was just sent to the other as its energy and health both dropped immensely it was holding on a few slivers of life that it still had! No poised for another attack even though it was weak and seemed a little out of season, still it wanted to fight as it came forward once again with a Tackle with fury and strength of what it still had in itself!::

As the dog pokemon drew closer and closer to Totodile, Zack drew his hand towards his belt
Zack: Just a little closer!
The dog was inches from Totodile when Zack quickly flicked his wrist throwing a pokeball spiralling towards the dog pokemon
Zack: Come on!

::As it came ever so closer not even knowing what was going on in Zack's head or what it was going to do. It was almost about to attack when it was surprised that a pokeball came flying out of the air hitting him and sucking him into the ball itself. As it landed on the ground you and Totodile wait while the Houndour fought with the innerds of the round sphere which had trapped it inside. As it swiveled and a red light seemed to blink wildly showing that it was in the process of capturing it!

As it seemed like forever when in reality it was only five minutes it still rocked back and forth still inside the dark one kept on fighting as it almost won it was about to pop open as you and Totodile both thinking that it would come to that your faithful friend got ready just in case. Except in the end the Houndour did not win as 1..2...3.::

CONGRATULATION YOU'VE SUCCESSFULLY CAUGHT A HOUNDOUR!
Totodile earned enough exp points to level up to next level!

Zack picked up the pokeball of the ground and showed it to totodile, Zack then pushed the button on the pokeball releasing his newly caught Houndour and started to pet him
Zack: Im gonna name you Shadow because yo u used the shadows so well duiring our battle

::Now accompanied with one blue and one of the dark; One of water and one of fire! You continue through the cave not knowing what would be coming down the path shadows played here and there you are cautious, but who knows what else would pop up out of the darkness. Taking each step with stride you watch out with the whites of your eyes catching what you can with the night vision in which are in your eyes as well as your faithful friends. Soon not to far from where you where you start to see a light once again wondering if this was the exit to the cave or was it a trainer or maybe if it was a pokemon with its own light?::

Zack pulled out the TM-Flash and taught flash to Houndour
Zack: Houndour use flash
The cave lit up with light

(Its actually a HM-Flash)

::As you stop in your tracks to teach the dark fiery pokemon it accepted your request to teach it Falsh as it was given the HM and 1..2...3...
Houndour learned Flash which made it easier for the three of you to see as it used flash creating a light for the three of you circling in a pure light only being a beacon in a small circle, still it was more light than trying to use the night vision which was in your eyes. Still you continue toward the light that was before you it had seen you as well it was another trainer who was resting at the time with a torch placed in the ground.

"Hey nice band of pokemon you got there mind if I have a battle with you?" It was a young girl who was dressed in hiking gear as if she had been in here for quite awhile looking in nooks and crannies for little treasures and pokemon. She had a good amount of pokemon herself and was ready to show hers' off to you . Thing is would you trust your pokemon with this battle or would you be defeated in this battle for even though it wasn't your choice you still where able to find some kind of strategy to win in a battle so what will you do?::

::The young female trainer was liking this for they would be able to see what each other could do and what was in store in the future that is if they met up again. As she said, "Cool here's mine!" As she threw out a pokeball herself as the mere light showed and something exploded out of it giving the cave even more light for a second and then out came a pokemon that looked like it was more able to be in a swamp she had sent out her favorite pokemon it was a Mudkip which she had recieved before she moved to the Kanto Region. "Alright girl here we go another battle to do, do your best!" As she instructed and the mudkip got into a ffighting stance as well.

The battle was set it was Water from the Hoenn Region versus a water type from the Johto Region this would be a little difficult the girl thought it would be a good thing for the girls to start first as the mudkip used a water gun shooting it towards the totodile it had a little more power to its stream for it was a little further in leveling up then the totodile, but still it was a crocodile looking pokemon versus something from the swamp so it had jaws and claws which would help the opponent....maybe!::
