Lowell Looking Around

Lowell walks by the Gym and looks for information about how strong the Leader is, what type of Pokemon, etc.

First thing you see on the gym is a simple plak that reads the following:

Lavender Town's first ever gym.

Thanks to the poilce force, a other gym leader was descovered to be a rocket.

So they destroyed the old gym that the rocket ran and built on here.

our leader fights with ghost types. But before you can enter you need the key...if you wish to fight go to the pokemon tower and search for your next possible gym badge!!

Go to the Pokemon Tower for a key? Lowell looks around and sees that he'll need some kind of item to get in. "OK, then, let's go!" Lowell walks over to Pokemon Tower and enters on the first floor, paying close attention to the ground for any items.

You walk around the tower for quiet awhile, yet still don't see anything, so you head up to the secoond floor.

Lowell, after looking around a bit, decides to send out a Pokemon. "Go, Riolu!" Riolu is released from his Pokeball. "Riolu, we're looking for some kind of key or item, and I need help searching for it! If you feel any strange auras or see anything, please tell me!"

Lowell and Riolu continue towards the next staircase, carrying out a thorough search.

Another three florrs later Riolu feels his ear twitch to another hallway. It stops you and points in that direction.

Lowell and Riolu walk in that direction. "Let's see if it's in here..." Lowell says, looking around carefully.

You and Riolu continue down the hallway. Then at the end of the hallway you reach 3 other hallways. riolu leads you to the right on and you continue walking.

"Do you feel anything more yet, Riolu?" Lowell asks him.

Riolu nods. Then says that there is a strong arua coming from around here. You both continue into a blank white room. "Its here." Riolu says in his own language but you understand what he's saying.

"OK, let's see..." Lowell searches around the room for anything suspicious.

You and Riolu serch through the plain room, then Riolu for some reasson starts feeling along the wall. Finally pushing a switch that opens a secret door.

Lowell runs over. "Whoa! Great work Riolu!" Lowell and Riolu enter the secret chamber and look around.

You continue into the secret room, and find the key sitting on a pedistule.

Lowell runs over and grabs it. "Alright! We've got it! Good work, Riolu!" Lowell and Riolu run out of the secret room and back towards the exit.

You run toward the exit, but the door slams shut, locking both of you in, a large purple mist soon surrounds you.

"Riolu, use Aura Sphere on the mist!" Lowell says. "I think it's a Pokemon..."

Riolu shoots out a arua sphere but the attack misses as a haunter appears from the mist and attacks with shadow ball.

Rioluuses Aura Sphere to block the Shadow Ball, then attacked with Shadow Claw.

OCC: Does Fouch Punch hurt ghost pokemon?

OOC: I dunno, but I changed it to Shadow Claw once I realized that it might not.

OCC: okay.

The attack slashs the haunter, but the pokemon does its own shadow claw on Riolu.

Riolu is hit and knocked down, but gets up and attacks. "Use Aura Sphere on Haunter, Riolu!" Lowell says.

Haunter is blown back from the attack. Then sends out shadow ball.

Riolu jumps, dodging over the attack. He runs forward and uses Shadow Claw again.

Haunter sees the attack and attacks with curse, cutting morethen half of its HP, Haunter casts the attack at Riolu. Causing it damage.

Riolu is cursed, and the curse starts sucking away his energy. But Haunter is weak now, and Riolu uses another Aura Sphere.

The attack hits and the haunter falls down, KO'd. The curse is lifted.

Lowell returns Riolu to his Pokeball. "Good job! Now get some rest." Lowell tries to find a way out.

The door opens letting you leave the secret room.

Lowell heads for the stairs, but keeps an eye out for any catchable Pokemon.

You exit from the pokemon tower. then continue down to the gym.

Lowell makes a quick stop at the Pokemon Center, healing Riolu, before heading back to the Gym. He enters and looks around to figure out what he needs to do.

You see a door up ahead with a keyhole. ment for the key you kept with you.

Lowell walks over to the door. "OK, let's see here..." Lowell puts the key into the hole and turns it.

insteed of the door opening, a trap door sucks you down a vent.

Lowell is flipped around in the vent, before finally steadying himself into a smooth fall. "This was not what i expected." Finally it seemed that the vent was ending...

You land on your feet in a large ghost-like battle arena. "Good to see a trainer has finally come!" a voice echo's from around the room.

"Right, I'd like a battle." Lowell says. "Why did it need to be a trap door?"

"People kept breaking down the orignial door, so we desided on a trapdoor." The gym leader emerges. He's your age with black hair nd red eyes. He's wearing a black shirt, pants and jacket.

"So you ready to battle??"

"Sure." Lowell says, and waits for the Gym Leader to send out a Pokemon.

The leader sends out his own Gastly, then waits for your move.

OCC: Sorry, I had to do a small trip to Arizona.

Lowell throws a Pokeball. "Go, Riolu!" Riolu bursts out of his Pokeball ready for action. "Riolu, use Aura Sphere!" Lowell says.

"Gastly! Use Shadow ball!" both attacks cancel eachother out. Then gastly sends out another in hopes of hitting Riolu.

Riolu jumps up and dodges the attack, then uses another Aura Sphere on Ghastly.

Gastly is hit by the attack but counters with shadow claw.

Riolu uses his own Shadow Claw to counter the attack.

Both attacks hit, and both pokemon are thrown back.

Riolu uses Agility, speeding up right next to Gastly, before using Shadow Claw again.

Gastly is slashed by the attack, but then uses curse. Casting a spell on Riolu for part of its HP.
