Road from Pallet to Viridian. CLOSED

Caleb checks out of the Hotel and gets some food before he goes. He goes along Route 1 which leads to Viridian. He keeps his Squirtle walking beside him, and an extra Pokeball in his hand. He was hoping he would happen to pass a wild Pokemon so he could catch it. A Grass type would be good to catch,he though. That would improve his chances even more for beating the Pewter city Gym leader. They kept on walking...and waiting for a Grass Pokemon to catch before Viridian.

::You walk for a while until you hear a sound coming from really close when you find out that it is an ekans right at your feet its tail standingstraight up in defense. it struck with anger for it had been interrupted for you had walked in its territory.::

Caleb jumped back in alarm. Squirtle jumped towards the Ekans to defend Caleb. Not a Grass type, Caleb thought. The Ekans looked pretty mad that Caleb disturbed him. It didn't look like it was going to back down. Caleb decided to fight it off. "Squirt! You're going to fight this Pokemon, okay?" Caleb asked. Squirtle nodded and got ready to follow Caleb's orders. "Squirt! Use your Bubble and use it on the ground to make it slippery! That way the Ekans will have a hard time going over it! Once it slows down, use another Bubble to knock it away! If it tries to counter with a Poison Sting, try to dodge it!" Caleb shouted.

::Squirt does as it is told using its bubble to dampen the ground in front of him and the ekans. Although now it was its turn to attack as it lunges forwardand uses Poison sting as it hits, but the poison from the sting doesn't make it through the squirtle to poison it. So now Squirtle counters with another Bubble straight at teh ekans it hits and the ekans is hurt. Now it uses leer trying to lure the poor turtle towards it to use Wrap.::

IC: "Oh no! Squirt! Try to resist! Use another bubble!" Caleb shouted.

OOC: I never knew Leer did that! When I get to Viridian, to I have to travel through the Viridian Forest?

ooc: Well what did you think "Leer" meant! lol Yeah I know how the walkthrough goes, but thanks! lol

::Squirt tries his best and resists it and uses Bubble as instructed, but also does a combination and finishes his turn witha tackle as he charges forward and hits the Ekans. The snake counters with Poison Sting again this time Poisoning the Squirtle and does its own combo by using "Wrap" now the ekans is wrapped around the turtle pokemon and would be for a little while.::

OOC: Umm, strong Ekans. EID Don't really know which move to use um...

IC: "Squirt! Try to break free from the Wrap! Use your Tail Whip to wrestle it's grip off!" Caleb said. "When it's off, use a Bubble!"

ooc: yeah I was trying to make it an even fight!

:::Your Tail whip weakens the ekans easily and he goes to the ground taking some of Squirt's energy. Now however the Ekans was weakened himself, which is bad for itself, but good for them. As it sat there awaiting as the poison was still in Squirtle weakened him as well.

(I think I gave you antidotes! )

OOC: Umm, how much HP is still in Squirt? I don't know when to use it.

IC: "Squirt, try to use a Tackle and flip him over then counter with a Bubble to send him away! Use another Bubble to make another section of the ground slippery so you can attack with another Bubble from far off!" Caleb said.

OOC: Hope he can remember what I just said...

::The squirtle uses "Tackle" against the Ekans and Bubble combo the ekans fell over Knocked Out cold and Squirtle gained a level.::

"Great job Squirt!" Caleb said. He took out an antidote and sprayed it on Squirt to cure him of that awful poison.. Squirt felt MUCH better and Caleb sent him back into his Pokeball. Caleb pulled out his ItemFinder and scanned the area trying to find something as he headed on to Viridian.

OOC: So do I go through the Viridian Forest?? (I already subtracted the Antidote and gave Squirt a level)

::You step off the trail that is nice and clean into the dense forest that is secluded from civilized places and is literally covered with bug and grass pokemon. As you walk in the dense forest it sems like you won't see anything for awhile so you keep on walking through the forest. That is until you see an item come up on your Itemfinder.::

ooc: Yeah that's alright if you update your own thing. I thought we should put that itemfinder to use! lol

Caleb walked through the forest still searching for Grass type Pokemon. Caleb hoped that another pesky Ekans wouldn't appear. (Don't let this give you ideas....) He kept his ItemFinder in his hand searching for some hidden items; hopefully rare ones- would appear. "Squirt, squirt." Squirt said. The darkness of the forest was making him scared. "Don't worry Squirt. It'll be alright." Caleb said calmly. Squirtle smiled. That made him feel better. They kept on walking and walking.

OOC: I think Arceuspkmnrpg should have random drawings every month so you could win items (Like rare candies, master balls, potions, held items etc) for free! You could put everybody's username on a piece of paper in a bowl, shake it around, and pull out one and they win a random item! just like the jubilife tv station in Sinnoh! just a thought...

ooc: hmm... good idea I'll send Arceus a PM about that. Cause she is the HEAD admin of the site adn hasn't been on lately!

IC: You find a potion as you keep on walking through the forest keeping an eye out for anything and anyone that you'd bump into in this forest.::

Caleb located the Potion on his ItemFinder and picked it up. He put it in his bag and continued into the Forest.

::YOu start to wonder why you hadn't come across a pokemon yet and you think that there isn't a single pokemon...until you run into the path of a Paras. A pokemon that has pincers for legs and mushrooms on its back it looks at you and sees a threat going forward to strike.::

OOC: Hope it doesn't use Posion Powder. I'm putting those Antidotes to use! Don't think I'm going to capture it.

IC: Squirtle charges forward into the Paras's way. "Squirt! Use a Bubble and aim near the Paras's eyes to blind it for a while! Then use another Bubble to knock it off it's feet!" Caleb said.

::As the Squirtle goes to by blinding the Paras it jumnps in surprise and is blinded, but for some mariclous thing it used Tackle on you as it rained straight into you as you go to it.::

OOC: Sorry, but, I had a hard time understanding that. So, Squirtle got hit when he tried to knock the Paras of it's feet going towards it? Squirt's Bubble is a ranging attack. It shoots from far away.

IC: "Squirt! Don't attack! Run in circles around the Paras to confuse it while it's blinded! The Paras will go in circles to trying to find it's target. Once it is dizzy, use a Tackle!" Caleb said.

OOC: Sorry was kinda in a hurry last time!

IC:
::As the paras is blinded by the squirtle's bubble attack she feels something circling her many times. Although not knowing that it twas the squirtle all she knew was that someone was goiong circles around her. She decided to use Poisonpowder which creates a dust that is shot into the air now the squirtle is poisoned by the poisonpowder.::

Caleb grimaced as he watched the poison powder settle into Squirt. "Squirt, try to hang in there! Hit the Paras with another Bubble!" Caleb said.

::Squirt still injured from the poisonpowder tries its best to hit the paras with a perfect bubble as he draws breathe unleashing bubbles they travel towards the paras. Finally some hitting it injuring the paras it uses scratch to counter it as one claw reaches out to the turtle pokemon.::

"Squirtle, use a Bubble on the ground to make it slippery!" Caleb said.

ooc: sorry I didn't know what to say. You didn't say if it hit or not.

OOC: It is up to you if you want it to hit or not, but don't use "dodge" to much and has to be fair okay?

OOC: Oh okay. I wanna be the very best, so, it'll miss... but, I thought you decided.

IC: Squirt dodged the attack. "Use a Bubble on the Paras!" Caleb said.

OOC: where is everybody???

OOC: Sorry once again I pardon myself for the elay!

::Squirt blew in air and withdrew bubbles that went forward to the paras it hit squarely and injured the paras even more it was getting tired and used Stun Spolre which if hit by it, it would paralyz the opponent enough for he paras to get ahead, but that woun't be to ar.::

OOC: That's okay. Question, when you don't say if the attack hit or not, do I judge it every time you do that? Earlier, you said to try to make it fair...

IC: Squirt tried to dodge it, but the Stun Spore got him. Caleb saw that the attack had connected and hoped that it didn't affect very well. "Squirt, try to attack the Paras with another Bubble!"

OOC: Well it depends on what you want happen if you want me the admin to say what happens or do you want to try and advance yourself by trying to be a fair choice on attacks and it also depends on which would be easier on you!

IC:
::Squirtle tried to use bubble no go it tried to tackle and almost hit, but it mised the poor turtle was defensless at that very moment. It was excited that the opponent was immobilized at the moment so excited that i used Leech Life which drained him of more of the squirtle's life force as it was transferred to the Paras giving it more life to survive the future attacks.::

OOC: Okay, thanks. I guess you could and sometimes me...

IC: This isn't going well, Caleb thought. He frowned and gave Squirt another attack order. Squirt was going to need some of his strength for this one. "Squirt. Try to focus on the Paras. Forget all about the Stun Spore. Aim the most powerful Bubble that you can make! I know that you can do this! And who wants to be a Blastoise?" Caleb said. He knew that last sentence should pep up his Pokemon a bit. Squirt nods ecstatically and prepares for another attack. Hopefully Squirt would have enough strength to do another move.

::Squirt pepped up enough to try his best to attack with a bubble attack one of the best ones he could muster at that time. Bubbles came out of his mouth some being pretty good-sized ones one that a wartortle would give. The bubbles hit the Paras injuring it by each hit. Finally keeling over Knocked out by the powerful bubble attack. Squirt had gained a level and the stun spore wore off.::

OOC: Did you update Squirt's level? I can't remember his latest one. by the way, in the Pokemon video games, according to the FireRed, LeafGreen, Red, Blue whatever which uses Kanto, you can buy a guide for the handheld games that tell every move and what level the Pokemon learn it at. Do you go by that?

IC: Caleb smiled. He knew that would work. Squirt looked pretty happy now. "Great job Squirt. Keep doing that, and you'll be a Blastoise in no time!" Caleb said, encouragingly. They continued walking through the Viridian Forest to try to find the way out to Pewter. Caleb pulled out his ItemFinder to search for items just in case...

OOC: NOt fully sure what your talking about . No I haven't changed the level as of yet if you want you can change it or I can go and change it for ya?

IC:
::You walk for awhile with the itemfinder and it doesn't pick anything up there wasn't any items anywhere you had traveled. You did however bump into a trainer who was in the forest as well he ses you and that makes him think you want ot battle him. so he stops you and asks "Are you a trainer if so I'm on as well wanna battle and see who is better with their pokemon?" He says as you know that once a trainer spots you it isn't easy to back down from a battle.::

OOC: Sorry, didn't explain it quite right. I'll go change the level...Let me explain it better. I bought Pokemon Diamond for DS. I also got a guide a few months later that had the complete Sinnoh Pokedex book with all 500+ Pokemon in it. It told me each what level each Pokemon evolved at, egg moves, and what level they learned new moves at etc. There is another guide for the Kanto games like Pokemon Red, Yellow etc. You can buy a guide for them like a complete Pokedex guide. I was just wondering if you had one and you went by the leveling and egg move rules from there. For instance, a Charizard learns the move Fire Spin a Lv. 55. (From Dex of Yellow, Red, Blue) And a online player from this RPG finally leveled his Charizard to 55. Would you or any other of the Admins here RP that he could teach his Charizard Fire Spin? get it?

IC: This was going to be his first trainer battle if he accepted. He knew this would originally be the home of Bug Catcher trainers. Maybe. "Okay. I'll battle you." Caleb said. Squirtle looked a little tired but he knew that maybe Squirt could do it. Squirt was already out of his Pokeball and ready for a battle. He waited for the Trainer to send out his Pokemon to start the battle...

OOC: Okay I see what your asking about the pokedex thing. Actually Prof. Oak usually gave the Pokedex at the very beginning. You can go to the following site for the levels and such.

IC:
::The pokemon trainer sees that the other kid accepted his offer even though there wasn't much choice in backing down from it. He threw out his pokeball revealing a caterpie that looked strong enough to battle he called out "Bug use Tackle!" as the caterprie came rushing forward to hit the squirtle it hit, but wasn't much to make a difference at teh time. Now it was time for squirtle to show his own strength.::

OOC: Yeah, that's what I was trying to say. And is there an Elite Four on Arceuspkmnrpg? Sorry, so many questions.

IC: "Alright Squirt, use a Bubble to lower the Caterpie's speed! Then use another Bubble to attack it!" Caleb said. Maybe that would be enough to slow it down, he thought.

OOC: What you can do is leave me emails wth your questions in them. I'm guessing there is, but you have to get there first ya know the whole getting there bit! lol

IC:
::Squir used bubble countering against the tackle that had just hit him. Which downed the opponenets speed and of health. It used string shot as to cut off some defense on the squirtle, but missed completely as Squit got ready for another bubble and aimed carefully making it count once more. So the Caterpie used Tackle once more to take out some health on the squirt. It rushed in, but squirt being pretty good in his basics avoided the attack making the caterpie miss him yet again.::

OOC: Okay!

IC: "Good job Squirt! Use a Bubble again!" Caleb said. The battle was starting to turn into his first Trainer battle victory.

::The squirtle used bubble once more this time it hit the caterpie nad injured it more. It used String shot and it hit draining some of the defense on Squirtle. Although its health was at warning level and it looked like it would be over for Caterpie.::

OOC: Going on a short trip. I'll be back Saturday. But not for sure on the computer...

IC: Maybe one last hit would win the battle. But Caleb had no clue if the Trainer had more than one Pokemon. "Alright Squirt! Use a powerful Bubble to end this battle!" Caleb said. "Hopefully", he added.

::Squirt uses another bubble which sends the caterpie this time it had knocked it out. "Oh no!" the trainer exclaimed for it was his only pokemon. "That was a good battle considering!" He said as you recieve $150 from the trainer for winning against him.::

"Thanks, that was a good battle!" Caleb said. He recieved and returned Squirt back to it's Pokeball. He pulled out the ItemFinder once again to search for items, and continued into the Virdian Forest, or hopefully out of it. It was getting dark, and he really didn't like camping in forests.

::You stumble around the forest trying o find a place that would take him in for the night. Taht was until he found a hut that was home to a humble person who took on visitors who travel around in the forest. You meet him at the door and he excepts you into his hut for the night.::

He thanked the man for his hospitality, and he found a bed where he could sleep for the night. He got in the bed and fell fast asleep. He would be ready for whatever tomorrow would bring. He would set out for Pewter city!!

::You sleep peacefully as so does the man and you wake up early the next day and leave thanking him once more as you leave to continue your journey to Pewter City. As you step out into the forest you walk the rest of the way, until a Weedle surprises you and attacks it was another pokemon battle that you had to go through ans you get sick and tired of them and just wanna leave you alone.::

OOC: Not another one... dont really know how happy or sad I am.

IC: "Not another Pokemon! Well, at least I'm training Squirt to a good level. Squirt, use a Bubble attack!" Caleb shouted.

::Squirt used bubble against the weedle and it injured the pokemon really good. It countered with Poison Sting as its tail went forward and stung Squirt, but only injured it the poison had failed to go into him.::

"Squirt, use another Bubble!" Caleb shouted.

::Squirtle uses bubble once again and the weedle moves out of the way of it. It uses String shot at squirt to damage his defense which is successful. That is until Squirt cunters with a tackle and the weedle can't avoid it and gets hit the hit is hard as it falls down knocked out from the battle and squirt earns a level for his hard work. You and your pokemon travel to the end of the Viridian Forest and to the outskirts of Pewter City.::

"Great job Squirt! Come on back.." Caleb said as he returned Squirt to it's Pokeball. He walked near the exit and smiled. He could see Pewter City off in the distance..

So I guess you can close this post. I'm going to post my next adventure in the Field Area so I can capture a Pokemon before I get to Pewter.
