Lowell: Adventures in Lavender Town!

"Aright, that'll work." Lowell says, and he makes sure his Pokemon know what to do.

"Alright. On my count both of us head into the forest as fast as possible, my pokemon will also be joining with yours." saroya begins the count down.

"2"

"...1!!!"

Quickly both of you bolt into the forest.

Lowell just keeps running in and turns around a few trees.

Saroya jumps away from a flamthrower, shot at her by her arcanine. "Lowell! duck!" saroya yells out as a thundershock comes your way from Minun.

Lowell dodges behind a tree and lets it deflect the Thunderwave. He keeps running further into the woods.

Saroya follows not far behind. "She manages to avoid a water gun from your wartortile and you duck under a arua sphere. "Quick that way!" Saroya points that way and both of you make a quick turn avoiding a fire spin.

Lowell jumps over an electric attack from Minun, before trying to lose them around a series of trees.

Saroya heads another direction, you on the other hand continue through the rouge forest. Then alarmed when saroya's luxray jumps in front of you and attacks with a thundershock.

Lowell rolls under the attack, then gets to his feet quickly. Lowell jumps forward and catches on to Luxray's fur, using Luxray's mutation to gain some of his speed. Before he can attack again, Lowell runs off in Saroya's direction.

Quickly you feel the effect of Luxrays power and run faster then normal, you catch up with Saroya quickly. "Alright, We'll need to head higher up, staying on the ground isn't the best." Saroya gripps your arm and jumps high into the trees above you. You each land on a sturdy branch and start climbing from tree to tree.

"Won't we be sitting ducks if they find us?" Lowell asks.

"Nah, most of the time my pokemon look on the ground. They wouldn't think I was up here. Besides our scent is being sent east by the wind. So they shouldn't be able to smell us out." Saroya states as she relaxs on one branch.

Lowell gets to the top of the tree, just under the foliage. "Yeah, but what about Pidgeot? And my Pidgey and HootHoot? Couldn't they find us up here?"

"They'll be checking the top of the trees, not in them. Well as far as I can tell." Saroya responds.

"Doesn't this defeat the purpose of being fast and quick-thinking?...Nevermind. How long do you plan on us staying up here?"

"Not long, just so we can come up with a plan. I know I said about quick thinking and being fast, but its still good to come up with a plan at some point. We better get moving, I think your Riolu found us." Saroya jumps from the tree and you do the same and start running in another direction.

Lowell keeps running towards the side of the woods, and dodges behind some rocks.

You then jump over a fallen log and continue the run. Suddenly you stop and listen. You then jump away from an arua sphere shot at you by Riolu.

Lowell dodges another aura sphere and dodges behind another tree. He grabs a large piece of bark that had been blasted off the tree and uses it as a shield, and runs over to a large outcropping of rock.

You hide again. This time to catch your breath. Finally riolu leaves, letting you continue running.

Lowell exits the forest and heads up into the rocky hills a bit, stopping behind a large, remote outcropping of rock. He looks back to see where the Pokemon are.

You spot your hoot hoot and pidgey not far of, but they don't see you.

Lowell moves to another position behind the rock, and digs a small trench, so that he's lower and harder to spot.

You stay still for awhile. Keeping watch for any other pokemon. You finally leave the trench and cover it with leaves as a small trap, again you start running.

Lowell takes a roundabout way back towards Lavender Town, keeping an eye out for any Pokemon.

You continue through the forest. You run into a clearing, and are almost spotted by Saroya's Arcanine, thankfully you hide just in time.

Lowell continues past Arcanine, and starts down a hill towards the city.

Finally you reach the city gates and sigh. Soon saroya joins you. "Quite a work out huh Lowell!" She yells out as she joins you. "We better get our pokemon back in they're pokeballs. most of them should be here....now."

The rest of yours and saroya join up with all of you. You can see that they're all tired from the training.

Lowell returns his Pokemon to their Pokeballs. "I think I'm going to go back to my hotel room and rest for a while..." Lowell says.

"Alright, seeyah later Lowell!" Saroya leaves and you return back to the hotel room. Quickly falling asleep.

The next day, Lowell gets up and goes to the PokeMart, buying some more food for both him and his Pokemon (10 lb. of Poke'Chow for 400, Beef Jerkey, 2 Easy Make Pasta, Granola Bars, and two Ramen cups, for a total of 1050$). Besides this, Lowell and his Pokemon spend the day resting.

The day after that, Lowell takes his Pokemon out to the hills for training. "Everyone, try to break one of those boulders!"

All of your pokemon prepare an attack, then lanch each on at the boulder, Quickly shattering it.

"Good! Do it again, guys!" Lowell says, pointing to another scattering of boulders.

All of them start breaking boulder after boulder finally stopping awhile later.

"Good job! Wartortle, Poliwag, use Water attacks to erode a hole in the ground there, and the rest of you, push that rock into the hole they create!" Lowell says.

They do as you say, but poilwags watergun still isn't as strong as wartortile's, making it abit behind, so the water pokemon shoots out more water then most times, gaining it one level. While the others shove a large boulder into the crater they made.

"Good job! Now, everyone, break the boulder down to dust!" Lowell says. "And then try to get another back in to replace it!"

All of them destroy the boulder again. Then quickly bonsly and riolu use both mega kick and focus punch to push another boulder into the hole.

"Good job, guys!" Lowell says. "Now, I want each of you to take a turn and break a boulder by yourself, and then you all replace the boulder! Then the next Pokemon in line will attack!" Lowell says, making sure his Pokemon understand.

Each one of them understand and get to work. Riolu goes first and has no problem destroing and replacing the boulder, same goes for Wartortile, and Bonsly. The only ones who have problems are Munchlax, Pidgey, and Hoothoot.

"OK, guys!" Lowell says, jogging over to a rock a dozen meters away. "We'll train your speed, too! Now, when I say go, get over to the rock and break one of the smaller rocks lined up over there, and then come back! Ready, go!"

Your whole team of pokemon charge forward and do as you say. Roilu and Wartortile return first, then Munchlax, Bonsly Pidgey and Hoothoot tie at last. Due to the effert both pokemon gain 2 levels.

"Great job, guys! Let's get in one last boulder-break before calling it a day!" Lowell says.

They all do as you say, quickly wartortile gains another level and learns Ice Beam! Shown when he destroyed his boulder with that attack.

Lowell returns his Pokemon to their Pokeballs. "Good work everyone...We're gonna be ready when we face this Gym!" Lowell returns to the hotel, eats dinner, and falls asleep.

The next day, Lowell decides to go and check out the Gym, to see if he should do any more training.
